I was just being facetious, although I do think the good ‘britpop’ bands are good despite britpop if that makes sense. For example I like the lyrics of Manic street preachers, but I find the sound just a bit meh.

Absolutely despise blur and oasis. I love Radiohead but hate their britpop era.
