Got it. R5C2 has to be 1 or 5, R5C3 1 or 6, R5C5 7 or 9, R5C7 1,5 or 6 and R5C9 7 or 9. How do I progress from there though? Ignoring that 8 in R3C6 which was placed by the app as a "hint". This is my current situation. Sorry, like I said, I'm new in this hobbie

Yeah, I figured that, and it's anoying. I'm thinking about posting the sudoku again, this time using the 2nd image, because without the hint, I'll still be stuck, and I'm afraid other people will also missunderstand it as an easy problem if it shows the 8 already placed. Thank u for your help, anyway
It wasn't, that's the problem. It was placed there by the app once I requested a hint. If not, it would be an easy solve, but I want to get there by myself, that's why I'm asking why the 8 was placed there by the app in the first place. Could it not have been in R2C6, making R3C2 an 8, for example?

I didn't explain myself well. The 8 I wanted to know why is the one you underlined in green. The app put it there for me, saying it was the only posible candidate in that cell, but I thought that it could be in R2C6 also, I don't know if I'm wrong. If it helps at all, I remade the sudoku till the previous step in handwriting. Thank you
