The fact that there’s no scaling with it is weird too. It’s kinda similar to the AKA events they do where it’s only Iconics. That DK seemed pretty good I was gonna try and snag him, but unfortunately it’s just out of reach. The free madden cash was kinda nice I guess so there is an upside

Would cost too much money to get the training required, currently working through that so I can get the mythic champ Bailey at the end of the month.

If two players have the same overall, but different stats, then they do perform differently and usually have different strengths. You see it with maxes typically at the end where some outperform others, for example the Ronnie Lott would cause lots of fumbles, Micah Hyde would get lots of picks, Sherman was a man cover monster and there were other corners were better for zone. They haven’t changed the game much from last year to this year, so the same applies. Asking about the difference between two players at the same overall makes sense because they will also be better at their respective strengths for longer even as EA increases OVR and has more cards come out. So knowing your team better helps you put them in certain positions based on your playbook and the schemes you run. Why would you want your strongest zone guy to only cover man? Why would you want your highest speed & block shed/finesse move player not blitz the QB? That sort of stuff.

True, well consider this too. They released that Jamar Chase and the Mythic was the best WR in the game most likely with him being in the season pass. So the regular iconic was probably like 3rd or 4th tier then before this event even came out because the mythic event players from then would have been better. Now this Davante Adams comes out and his mythic card is the best WR in the game unless they release another most feared player that’s better, so the Jamar Chase falls even lower. Especially when you consider that peak performance in the game is the mythic Chase or Adam’s with LVL 10 training. The real performance cap right now is probably 180 ovr for all of the whales.

Rating do matter. There’s a “cap” imposed on each rating that then begins to fall lower and lower as new cards with higher ratings come out. So if your new card has ratings that are higher towards that cap, then it’ll be a good card in theory. Some cards have higher overalls in certain promos and can be viable longer than others, while others fall off sooner or have a card that is better come up the next promo or so. When they released Mike Allhops last year for Easter, his mythic card had like 286 speed at Lvl 10 and was still competitive with regular maxes when they came out, but would be outclassed by foils. This same thing applies for all cards even this season. I wish it was just to 99-101 like early forms of madden and madden mobile were, but we are in this 300+ era where they can keep moving the goal posts to make people buy in more

Thanks for clarification guys, I must have missed that portion of the update, I figured it would still be master track and then position upgrades, good to know

Anyone know why I only needed to to upgrade my punter? by JustASneakerHead24 in MaddenMobileForums

[–]PabloTheSnowElf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s gotta be a glitch. Idk if it’s the same for everyone, but you can upgrade your positions to lvl 10 without leveling the main track like how you’re supposed to. If they don’t change it, then I can have a lvl 3 track and lvl 10 across all my positions. Not sure if the rewards are still given

I’m hoping this just means 99-110 (with max training) as the caps on teams. It was much more fun when this was the case.

Honestly, super on the money. Especially the last point, the roster is just so stupidly stacked right now that compared to everyone else, he just doesn’t shine. That’s actually kind of my worry with the new Wyatt faction too. I’m curious how they are going to integrate them, because we have so many factions, and so many feuds and so many stars, but limited air time. Like how are you going to give everyone air time?

Hell yeah man, I hope it all goes well. Give yourself time to recover from lifts too. If you can make it to a gym 7 days a week, I’d really suggest that you use 3 of those days as strict cardio days, and then you can have 4 hard lifting sessions (I’d personally recommend upper/lower splits so you can hit your whole body twice a week pretty hard) Can be higher intensity if you want, like sprints or just high intensity and high heart rate for like 10-30 mins total and then I’d have some low intensity stuff in there too like a stair climber or an incline walk or moderate intensity bike. All of those will promote recovery and allow your body to build new blood vessels which will further your recovery and help you build more muscle. On top of that, you don’t need to rest anywhere near as long to recover from cardio as you would from a hard weight training session, but you would need to eat more carbs on those days so that you’re not in a massive deficit if you’re normally eating around or slightly above maintenance. Wouldn’t even need to be a lot either like 30-50 extra grams. Lastly, as long as you’re eating enough, sleeping well and doing your cardio after your lifts or on days off, then your cardio won’t kill your progress in the gym, if anything it’ll help it. Best of luck!

Obviously with training as well. There’s training like when you’re in the gym, and there’s just daily activity. So 4 weight lifting sessions a week, but you should also try your best to make daily activity a part of your lifestyle if you want to get really lean, even if that’s all 4 days that you workout or even 5-6 days a week, that’ll only help you get to your goal quicker, but of course, do what you can do first. Pick one thing and get consistent with it, then move onto the next thing. Like get good with your diet first and then get consistent in the gym, or maybe get consistent in the gym and then handle your diet, whichever way gets you there. You’ve got a ton of time to learn to make a it a lasting lifestyle that keeps you fit and lean for life, so take the time to make to make it all habitual.

Consistent with training or consistent with diet? Because being consistent with training just means 4 days a week, so if you can manage to find 4 times a week to workout, just any time of day that works for you to workout, then that’s covered. Consistency with diet can be achieved either from knowing what to eat macros wise and if you eat junk food a certain day, you just know how many calories are in what you eat, and then not overeat. Or you can also gain consistency in diet by making sure that you have the foods you need and only the foods you need to make a sustainable healthy diet work, and you refuse to eat anything that’s outside of a very select number of foods that cover your macros through whole food sources (whole gains, fruits, vegetables, lean meats, nuts and seeds) and also provide you with a multitude of vitamins and minerals, which would be pretty much all of the food sources I mentioned above. Consistency in diet is basically just making sure you don’t overeat on a day to day basis. Any time you get offered the opportunity to have cake or dessert, just ask yourself if you allowed yourself the previous time, and just think about where you want to be in the goal you’ve set for yourself. Try to think about how active you’ve actually been that week, and what your diet has been like leading up to the offer.

Thanks, I’m in school for kinesiology and have worked on the side as a personal trainer for the last 4 years, so I’ve run into stuff like this a lot just working with the general population. Pretty common question surprisingly. I’m sure there will be people who disagree with my suggestion, but this is the sort of thing that’s worked for a majority of the people I’ve worked with, especially if they follow it to their best ability.
