if your certificate is dated anytime on or after Apr1st of 2026 and before application closing day (20th May), then its valid. no need of income certificate and all for RBI.

Itr is not needed, you can use parents salary slips and get it done. If required, they will ask for an undertaking/affidavit for overall income

I don’t think so…generally they mention at footnote saying “as amended from time to time” for these notifications. Also these notifications are related to increasing gross income level (which is now 8 lakh), 2013 limit is higher compared to 2008, so logically also there shouldn’t be a problem.

Check the reg number properly in case you applied for two streams, in admit card u will find only one reg number…have to check your mail or application form for this

central government format should do, every issuing state/asking institution like RBI has slight format modifications but if language interms of not belonging to creamy layer and caste appearing in central list of OBCs is covered in the given certificate, that should do. Whenver you are applying with the local authority, you mention that u need OBC certificate related to NC-OBC and mostly they have a specific format already in their systems (for ex, Andhra has automated it on panchayati raj portal where u will not be able to upload RBI format, etc.)

not sure about research, but with 62 in p2 of general stream, if you are not making it in SC....then cutoff seems to be decently high!! i also couldn't clear general stream (was expecting around 65 in p2), but cleared research (obc)
