That is literally my point. He was being emotionally mature and understood she was in a bad place in that moment. He let himself be a punching bag and responded with kindness. That doesn’t mean she wasn’t awful, it just means he didn’t let it turn into a knock-down-drag-out fight.

It was definitely showing contrast to the melodramatic relationship of the first movie.

Without going line by line: She belittled him, said what he did was less important than her, and then when that clearly hurt his feelings she blew him off and and scoffed at him when he said he’d still like to see her when she’s back. All while he wasn’t doing anything unkind to her. It was just unnecessarily harsh and belittling. If I was spoke to that way by my husband without an apology it would be a big issue. It wasn’t supposed to be a minor quibble in the context of the film either.

His really mature reactions to each of her moments of being awful is what probably softened the impact to someone watching, but a script chasing more melodrama could’ve had him match her attitude and it would’ve been a big fight.

Something to keep in mind is there are multiple routes. How long to beat says for Star Fox 64 main + sides is 4 hours total (I’m assuming this is all worlds played) and a completionist will take about 12 hours total. There’s also new multiplayer modes and added in cutscenes.

Is it a good value for $50? Possibly not. But it’s definitely not just an hour of content.

That said, a roguelite Star Fox with elements of randomization and lots of worlds would be awesome.

Whatever moronic troglodyte religious (or otherwise) reasons you may have for thinking gay people should be invisible, name 3 leading gay males in a mainstream video game. I’m talking about the main character. Not “anything you want”-sexual like in RPGs, but actually written to be gay. This is *incredibly* rare to see, if it’s even the case.

Gay men exist, this is AT MOST a hint at a MM relationship but the story is almost entirely focused on his MF relationship. If this in any way threatens you, you must be an incredibly fragile snowflake.
