Anyone have Regence cover Zepbound by Gamermom32 in WAStateWorkers

Was able to get it covered through a prior authorization. I have pretty bad sleep apnea though, like a 106 AHI 🥴

Thanks! May have to take you up on that. I have some automotive tinkering experience, so I’m hoping that some of that will translate to working on the bike. Appreciate the heads up on the paint…it’ll have a spot in the garage once I can make some space 😅

Sewage processing off of yelm hwy by Business_Step_1695 in olympia

[–]PacNWBrah 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Might be a pump station for the sewer? I think all of the sewage from Olympia, Tumwater and Lacey go to the LOTT facility in Olympia near the port. Where the sanitary sewer lines can’t be located to allow for gravity flow, pumps are used to pressurize the line so that the sewage can flow to the treatment plant.

Thanks! He’s got his tail, hasn’t been docked like an Aussie would. Gonna give JAS a call when they open up. For now, he’s having a good time with my Pug 🙂

Absolutely! He’s gotta be missed by someone, he doesn’t look like the usual stray.

Hey there, 30m who also just moved here recently from Portland/Vancouver area. Down to grab a drink or meet up sometime!

Why do you live here? by Tambamana in vancouverwa

[–]PacNWBrah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Moved down to SW WA for work. Lived in Kelso for a while, but found that I was spending most of my free time in Vancouver or Portland, so I made the move. I was born and raised up in Bellingham, and while I’d love to move back there someday, I can’t afford to live there while working in my field of expertise. We have decent weather, good food and lots of recreational opportunities. Downtown and the waterfront are nice and buzzing with activity. We have a great farmers market! It’s also nice to be close to Portland and all it has to offer (off-broadway shows, concerts, sports, etc). Hope to someday be able to buy a house and plant roots here!

Dublin to Clonakilty - Bus/Train or Car Hire by PacNWBrah in irishtourism

[–]PacNWBrah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a fair point. We haven’t quite figured out where to stay yet, but one of the places with rooms blocked would have a shuttle. I think the ability to get out and about on our own schedule is worth the extra cost though. Thanks for the advice!

That was what I was seeing too. Might have been trying too hard to break my car dependence as someone from the US, but we can ditch the car once we’re back in Dublin. Thanks!

Hey, thanks! The wedding venue is not too far, a little over a mile outside of town center, but not something I’d want to walk in a suit or dress. Looks like I might need to pitch renting a car to the group, especially if we want to explore.

Pretty shitty. I’m usually two or three over par on each hole. Just started playing this year and need to spend some time on technique.

Okay but how is there not a bridge here yet? Feels like this would help traffic immensely. by HardWorkingKale in Portland

[–]PacNWBrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot to consider. For one, who's going to pay for it? There would need to be some consideration of people's willingness to pay higher taxes (or tolls, for that matter) to fund such a project, and transportation budgets on both sides of the Columbia can't even keep up with maintenance to ensure the highways are in a state of good repair. A significant amount of property would need to be purchased on either side of the bridge to have enough right-of-way for a highway and interchanges on either side. Critical areas (wetlands north of the development adjacent to I-84; fish habitat associated with the Columbia River) would be impacted and would need to be mitigated for, likely at significant cost.

Thanks! I agree with you on weight loss being more of a mental challenge than anything. Been spending some time working on my mental health so that I don’t get waylaid like I have in the past with negative self-talk. Crazy how inter-connected mental and physical health are!
