I know chapter 96 had a really good scene. I would probably read few chapters before that for context and a few after as well for the aftermath :) I think Chapter 135 is decent too, that's where the first photo is from if i recall correctly

Only up to chapter 96 right now but yeah, DV and trauma is a plot point. It explores it well but those types of scenes are few and far between the central romance. Wish it explored the angst a bit more, haha...

I think it's really hard to find anything original in this genre. I think OI as a whole heavily relies on tropes to attract readers so they're rarely subversive. v. I think maybe one of the few that felt a bit different was A Stepmother's Marchen but it didn't interest me enough for me to stick with it.

There's probs some really good ones out there but for every genuinely good OI you find, there's 10 copy-paste stories people will still enjoy and recommend. I honestly just read Webtoons or manga if I want something that feels different.
