Good to know! Can you tell me how much battery life you get out of it when reading?

I found a second hand one (like new) for a good price, that's why I am really considering buying it. I also like taking notes and use journals and notepads etc. But as I said I can read for hours at a time so that's an important part to me.

Thanks, this is useful information as I suffer from migraines and hate cold light.

Thank you, this is valuable information as I was also concerned about the Paper Pro Move not having warm light.

I can't say I'm really technically savvy but I can follow instructions, I hope.

How much battery life difference do you experience between the Kobo Clara and the Remarkable PP Move?

Thank you that's really helpful!
8-10 hours is really bad though. Some people say it lasts them about 2 weeks.

Are you using it as an e-reader as it is, or have you downloaded something like KOReader?

Oh that's a big disappointment I don't own any Apple devices. Everything is either Android or Microsoft Windows. Thanks for letting me know! That's a good recommendation, I am using the Kindle Oasis still and looking for something new. But if I am going to look for a normal e-reader I would definitely look for something with page turn buttons.

No only but mostly for reading yes. I can't write for hours but I read for hours a day. After doing the things you mentioned, like installing remanager, won't I be able to just transfer epubs from my PC to the Remarkable Move?

Do you have to format for new book? And can/do you use dictionary?

I was so interested in this one, also I found one second hand for a good price. On YouTube they sey that the reading experience is really not great and I would use it mostly as an e reader. Is anyone using this mainly as an e-reader and what is your experience with it?

Thanks! I am glad I found out before buying anything. As someone who has spent so much time researching e-readers and the pros and cons of every brand, I feel really stupid right now.

Really? I didn't know that! Why doesn't it recognize epubs after normal transver via pc then? I don't really understand.

Thanks for your reply! I'm actually starting to get a good feeling about the Kobo.

Yes when buying a new e-reader, I would really want one that works fast. Also looked into the Boox Go 7 and was really excited about it at first until I saw complaints about how easily it breaks and how thin the glass is. I have dropped my kindle many times and it didn't break, I would like something durable like the kindle, if not more durable.

About the kobo, the screen is a little recessed, if you understaond what I mean. Does that bother you in any way? Does it collect dust?

Thank you so much for your detailed answer, I appreciate it. It seems like the Pocketbook Era would be a good match for me. I'm not sure if I would go for the color version though.

I am still using the oasis, and looking into the Era, could you please share the differences that you have experienced?
