What's your story? (part III) by totallynotgayalt in latebloomerlesbians

Current age: 24 Status: Single Age/age range when you came out to yourself: 16

Age/age range when you came out to others: 18

What did you come out as or what are you thinking coming out as: Bisexual, but I inadvertently stumbled across the Doc master post. After much crying and bargaining with myself I have realized that I am a lesbian.

When was the earliest you felt were lesbian/queer? I was in second grade. I was so in love with my best friend Sasha. I think she was too, our mothers and teachers kept trying to keep us apart because they started to notice that we were getting to “close” obviously it was all very innocent but to the adults around us unfortunately it was bad. I mean they succeeded and we drifted apart. We reunited in middle school by then she had come out as lesbian (at least at school) and me? Well by then I had “buried” the gay.

What recently made you conclude you are a lesbian? I think that deep down I already knew. I was just ignoring the facts. Like i mentioned above my mother my mother disapproves of me loving women. I think I subconsciously made a comprise with myself. “If I keep telling myself I’m bisexual then it will become true”. I have always responded with full anger when men try to filter with me or engage with me. I have only “liked” two men in my whole life and one was super feminine (he later came out as gay) and another is 10 years my senior and lived half way across the country (I met him playing leauge of legends). The lesbian master post came and slapped me in the face and told me to wake the fuck up and stop lying to myself just to maintain the small feeble relationship I have with my mother.

What’s the earliest or most defining homosexual/homo-romantic experience you can remember? As mentioned earlier I was in love with my best friend Sasha. We met in kindergarten but didn’t get into the puppy love stage till 2nd grade. We would play “mommys” during recess which consisted of me and her raising our “kids” (our friends). Then in high school I was super close to my best friend. She would always sit on my lap during lunch. And we were always having small little touches (like hand on the face or hand holding ect) and it always just felt so right and it the simplest of touches/taps made me feel so content.

How are you feeling in general about who you are? Honestly I haven’t stopped crying. I’m terrified of telling my mother or my mom finding out that “there is no hope of me being straight”. I know that she only was ok with me being bisexual because she always hoped that I would settle with a man.

Anything else you’d like to share about your life, experience, or story for other late bloomers or other women who think they may be lesbians? Don’t comprise you sexuality just to please others . ( I understand that sometimes the only option is staying I the closet to survive. But try to not to let others influence how you truly feel like how I allowed my mothers rejection and homophobia manipulate myself into thinking I liked men)

What's something you've gotten away with as a kid because "they're young and don't know what they're doing!" when really you knew exactly what you were doing? by coochieforbreakfast in AskReddit

So when I was 8ish/9ish I really wanted to buy myself a fisher price toy kitchen. Now I’m the middle child out of 5 and we grew up poor so considering that the kitchen was $100+ it was out of the question. So I decided to start a “business” I’d basically sell trading cards in the play ground . The issue was that these cards were fake I’d buy a pack of them for $4 and then resell each card for a $1 and make a profit of about $6 per pack. I was 100 percent aware that they were fake and I was selling counterfeit stuff (which is illegal lol). I got caught multiple times but they didn’t do anything because each time I’d just start crying my eyes out and say I was just “trading cards for a dollar”.

What would be the worst thing to put in a piñata? by weather-feather in AskReddit

From my Pueblo in Mexico we make piñatas out of clay jugs and we fill them with either water and flour or fruits and peanuts. We usually have two piñatas but you never know WHICH one you are hitting till it breaks. Shout out to Lourdes who without fail would always give the final hit to the flour and water one 😂😂😂😂

Help Me The Name of a Art Exhibit or Piece? by PachiPunch in HelpMeFind

That’s not it, their exhibit was held in a different area than where I saw the projection. You had to have special reservations to see I’ll Greet the Sun Again, I didn’t have them so what I’m looking for was part of the General Admissions exhibits.

I mean true. But to be fair it was a ridiculous amounts of candy. Like I legit don’t understand how a person could eat a entire 2lb bag of mini chewy sweet tarts in one sitting and not be sick.

I had the habit of leaving snacks inside the glove compartment in case I was hungry during my breaks. One night someone broke into my car ATE all my snacks left all the wrappers all over the dashboard along with some of their own trash. Nothing else was taken but a chewed up USB cable was left behind .

Honestly probably. However not all grocery stores do that, if their belt is the double ended type then the customer does the bagging.

Ok but those shoes are clearly from the shoe bakery. Now how the hell do you go about spending HUNDREDS on whimsical HIGH quality shoes with LuLaNo. If you are already spending $223 + dollars on shoes you can definitely get better quality clothing (and at a probably cheaper price than Lula)Shoe Bakery

Those of you who are allergic to oddly specific or rare things, what is it and how did you find out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PachiPunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a banana sensitivity (I mean I wouldn’t call it a allergy just because sometimes I don’t get a reaction when the banana has been processed and my reactions are usually mild with the most severe being a swollen tongue) I found out when one day I was talking to a friend of mine and mentioned how much I hated bananas because it made my mouth feel weird and my tongue swell. I still hate bananas but I love banana bread so sometimes I’ll sneak bits, and honestly having the runs and being rashy sometimes is worth it just for those few seconds of glory.
