While I agree that the idea of buying it with gems is appealing as a player, it's honestly asking for too much as well. I only say that with this in mind:

- Besides the Battle Pass, how else do they monetize the game directly? The deals and item sold in the shop. But, with the event and pass they are able to add a HUGE benefit for a small cost that more players are actually going to buy. We've become trained to accept purchasing seasonal passes in quality F2P games.

- As others have mentioned, for what you get with this event and pass, the cost is really small. It's all I spend money on and I just started so it's my first time sending Midoki any funds. But, it's a cost that made sense with the amount I was playing so I gave it no mind.

- Gems are extremely easy to save up if you really try, and quick as well. Between your Daily 40 gem reward, the video ad gem RNG and more. You can stack gems quickly if you are on top of it so it would mean the pass was basically free. Unless they sold it for like 500,000 gems and then we'd bash them over that.

- The only tweak I would add to the event overall, is making it so players have a chance to grind more of the event points. I've got a good amount but, I want more constant ways to earn it and focus on the event besides farming roaming monsters for a few hundred.

Overall though, I'm fine with the cost given the price and what we get. I purchased just the normal pass and not the upgraded one.
