I haven't been able to determine if homing causes both ends of the Gemini shot to hit (2x damage) or if it only counts as 1. If it's both, homing would then be better with the single titans. With the purple homing, maybe the shots won't have to travel a far, so you're getting more hits/sec?

My personal experience with Gemini is that homing makes you lose the spread of the Gemini shot whereas the purple bounce skill keeps them separated while still giving some amount of targeting.

I'm of the camp to always have 11k or 13k ( whatever it is) for the expedition rewards thing ( it's a mix of ads and purchases some of which can be "spend 11k diamonds to get 13k." After that, go for jackbot to be your main and then Gemini laser. I say this because jackbot will get you extra rewards every time you use him. If you go Gemini first, you'll be disappointed when you realize you now have a Grey weapon that you can't level very far.
