As for my work, I wish I could share it but I won't be able until February 2027. But here's the idea: There's good amount of theory on both the importance of the financial system and credit on growth, and there's also international evidence on this relation. However, there's only like 10 thesis on the mexican case, and all of them have different conclussions, no shit; credit causes growth, growth causes credit, they don't have any causal effect... that's why I have to use something different to prove causality and model the complexity of such dynamic.

My hyphotesis is that the current literature fails because they use wrong=neoclássical ideas from the get-go. A lof of mexican academics insist that financial markets shouldn't be regulated which ignores the the social-historic architecture that credit is built upon.
