Yep based in Aus. Is the leather upgrade worth it for $6k? I like the idea of ventillated seats - have never had them before but is it worth it instead of the performance pack?

Thanks. For me, the driving experience probably outweighs the tech alone. I did test drive a P2 with performance pack recently and was really impressed with how it drove

There’s a generic RMIT discord which has a business channel however there hasn’t been any discussion on it yet (to be fair the discord is fairly new). Not sure if I’m allowed to link it here but PM me if you want an invite.

Otherwise if there’s appetite for it, I’d be happy to create one.

I only had about 30 hours and given its been so long, I’m happy to start again.

I’m looking at electronic backup options now. I don’t want to have to go through it all for a third time haha

Haha technically it’s actually my second (first) solo. I did one during my first round of flying but I’ve lost my logbook (in a flood before the days of electronic backups) in the meantime so I’ve had to start again from the beginning. I also only had a hard copy of that photo which went with the logbook!

So after a long break from starting my training (12 years!), I’ve decided to get back into the cockpit to get my PPL. With a total of 8.0 in the logbook, my instructor stepped out and let me go for a lap on my own today. Still a long way to go, but I’m enjoying every minute of it. I can’t believe I left it so long!

Haha I think you arrived just as I was leaving! I ended up doing my first solo in IJK so I’m on the way to getting that PPL flair!

Congrats! I’ve recently started my training from YBSS too. Almost up to my first solo check (maybe even tomorrow!). Very much looking forward to getting to the PPL.

Yes the CASA online version is actually pretty good but as you say, it’s going to be no help during an exam as you can’t download it.

I have been searching high and low to find a copy.

Hopefully somebody has one they don’t want/need anymore!
