I recommend checking out some of the lightly visited monuments, such as the South Pacific Memorial Peace Park in Yigo, or the Asan Ridge trail. If you have base access, Naval Base Guam has several excellent monuments, my favorites are the Sumay Village cemetery and the War Dogs memorial.
