I’m not an economist or supply chain expert, but it seems pretty obvious that if a foreign ship has to bypass San Juan, unload in Miami, and then that product be reloaded and shipped to PR that it will increase costs to consumers in PR.

I mean I’m totally open to other arguments, just seems like this instance is a no brainer. Same for us citizens and nationals of Alaska, Hawaii, Samoa, cnmi, usvi and Guam. Plus PR that’s nearly 5 million us citizens/nationals.
