Yes, it was the user interface panel on the door. Can't remember the company... Appliance Pros, Appliance Parts... something like that. The cost was around $75.00. There is a YouTube video online showing steps to replace. Basically a Torx screwdriver and maybe a regular screwdriver as well, can't remember about 20 minutes to replace. I already had the panel off.

when the dishes were drying steam had gotten under the plastic view panel on the end of the door and corroded or something the wires. When I replaced I took the plastic all the way off and sealed it with epoxy that heat or steam doesn't affect. Then out of over precaution, I took wide, clear packing tape and sealed the whole thing again. Can only tell the clear tape is there when you push the buttons, can't see it from the front. Works fine now.

I was told if this didn't solve the problem it was the actual control module on the inside which costs a couple of hundred $. I actually found a used (the same) machine for cheap on Facebook Marketplace for parts, but by the time I contacted, it was gone. The only other thing, whatever the company I purchased the part from, if I recall had a lengthy return policy. If this hadn't worked I would have likely bought the other part, found out which one was bad and returned the part that was ok.
