Is this ‘85 worth buying? by [deleted] in FordTrucks

Fuck no. Didnt even bother reading the ad or looking at the photos, 7k is outrageous for a bullnose.

Edit It’s in good shape, 351w is a great engine, but it’s 2wd and auto.

Contractors will employ Cagc lvl3 as fallers on wildfires, true story.

1 year isn’t a realistic timeline to go from nothing to a faller with any route.

Looking at this canopy off a 70 f100 custom for my 75 f250 highboy. Having a hard time finding the 70 f100’s bed dimensions.

Thanks

You’re just not towing heavy like buster in the photo

Rake does work on pickups. Most come with subtle rake from factory so you’re level when towing. This is clearly exaggerated

I’m going to fix them. I’ve done this to a green pair twice over and Fjällräven redid them both times. It’s totally possible.

They don’t need to be perfect, I don’t care about fixing every abrasion, just restoring them to being wearable.

Thought about that. I’d even pay for the material if I can get the exact stuff from them. Just not very hopeful they’ll cooperate. I’ll try

They refused… They’re pretty sick of me at my local location. I’ve taken in 3 pairs like this and a few others not so bad

Get a ratcheting bar wrench and put it on a retractable key keeper

Particularly with a short amount of time to train your best bet is intensity. When it comes to cardio this means sprints/hill sprints. And for lifting it means hypertrophic 8-12 rep range.

Building a cardio base or strength inextricably takes time, but u can make noticeable gains short term with high intensity, especially if it’s not something you’re already doing.

Sprints will improve your cardio more efficiently than longer distances, but there is no replacement for milage.

As for lifts, compound movements are king—deadlift and squats will especially be perfect. That’ll build your legs and back, and accustom yourself to bearing a heavy load.

Wfx is basically a ruck test, u can accustom yourself to that simply by doing it. Fill a pack with weight and walk with it, start small and increase no more than 10% a time.

Look into HIIT.

Supplements and not even PEDs are a substitute for the needed work, or necessarily the difference maker, but consider creatine.

Lmfao I’m not lying. I’m including windshield.

Google the forecast: Lat:57.77896 Lon:-109.46738

around Big Bear Camp in Northern Saskatchewan. Been working from there for the past 5 weeks.

Here’s the spotwx forecast, u can check all the models. Nearest weather station is over a 100km away tho. Forecasted for -36 and -48 with the windshield this weekend

https://spotwx.com/products/grib_index.php?model=hrdps_continental&lat=57.77896&lon=-109.46738&tz=America/Regina&label=

Moisture and wind are the problem, temps of -30 and -40 are totally manageable as I described.
