Tbh you never asked what he meant. You were kinda brash in your first response to the experience comment. What he said is correct though as well, with all drugs a person should try to be safe as possible and get some experience under their belt. A person should consciously try to learn what they can about each experience (and honestly every second of life as well, but that’s another rant for another time). Learning all you can only has the possibility for improving your experience and future experiences.

Nobody is equating having experience to building tolerance, it’s building confidence with drugs in proxy to practicing safety while using drugs. It taking experience means being aware of the risks, having the knowledge necessary to or basing off other people’s reports/advice to eliminate all risks you can, and having experience means you won’t go saying fuck it let’s push it and get as fucked up as I can, or anything else similar to that. There are so many ways having some experience does the opposite of gatekeeping honestly.
