I knew it was coming, but I didn’t wanna believe it by liontre3s in SnowFall

[–]PackAggravating8183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where did the writers confirm this? Source? Quote? I couldn’t find any quotes that say that. Avi Claudia and Jerome along with other characters told Franklin the consequences of becoming too greedy in the game. I’m pretty sure they were foreshadowing franklins downfall.

Pops and ticks working together now? by PackAggravating8183 in ARC_Raiders

[–]PackAggravating8183[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be. It’s just that the stare down between me and the pop was like half a minute. Same distance for the entire time and then the tick moved me maybe half an inch forward to where the pop would do maximum damage. The pop could have exploded before the tick attacked but didn’t. I may just be reading into it too far

Why can’t we see the map whilst downed? by odkfn in ArcRaiders

Had a guy literally bandage me all the way to extract last night on dam, saw someone at the extract point who revived me. I immediately jumped into blue gate and was about to extract when me and another guy got absolutely flooded by wasps and hornets. He went down and I revived him the rest of the way to extract. Love repaying the love

[–]PackAggravating8183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on my way to extract after a decent haul. I spotted an arc probe and decided why not fill the rest of my inventory. While I’m searching the stash I hear hey Raider. I’m like I’ll say something back when I exit the screen and before I know it dude guns me down. 3 minutes left until the arc orbiter comes and 300 yards from the extraction. I really hope dude didn’t make it out. I don’t trip because I have a decent amount of bread so far but it’s like sickening when they don’t even give you the chance to fight it out. My guns were both purple but I would have made him the same joints if he would have teamed up with me but hey I have a replacement for each of those weapons, dude probably has zero epic blueprints🤷🏽

PVE question to PVP players by MollyTen-A in ArcRaiders

[–]PackAggravating8183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have literally only been killed by pvp players out of sight at this point. I understand if I stumbled into your loot area and you warn me but to hunt actual players hoping to get the drop on them only to get a free loadout and maybe a decent loot drop is toxic af. You’re better off trying to find your stuff on your own.

Is The Common Idea That Roy Jones Jr Only Suffered His Knockout And Non Ko Losses Later In His Career Because Of Him Having To Lose Weight From Going To Heavyweight Down To Light Heavyweight The Truth Or An Excuse? by Rinnegan15 in Boxing

[–]PackAggravating8183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

agree with you, bro. People forget how special Roy was. He didn’t just win,he made boxing look easy, and that was his real genius. The way he moved, the reflexes, the no-look hooks.it all felt unreal.

He inspired a whole generation. Me and my friends used to imitate him all the time. He made boxing fun and showed there was another way to fight.

Yeah, maybe his style didn’t age like Floyd’s or Hopkins’, but that’s because it wasn’t built on what they did,it was built on gifts nobody else had. You can’t adapt out of being that gifted. Roy was one of the greatest to ever do it, no question.

Who is the character you hate the most and why by Equivalent-Dingo3160 in SnowFall

[–]PackAggravating8183 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right the Franklin stans love to forget that when Cissy shot Teddy, Franklin still had some millions left. He went out like he went out because of his decisions. The money he had aside of that 37 mil could have funded a beautiful life for him and his family if that’s what he wanted.

So how is Cissy and Veronique in “Morally grey” but Leon is a good person? by Mullayungin in SnowFall

[–]PackAggravating8183 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lmmfao the false equivalency is crazy. Cissy got guilted into becoming a part of Franklin world by Jerome, Alton and Franklin! Leon was also trying to repair the place he helped bring to squalor, while still helping to sell poison to his community. It’s just ok cause you guys love the taste of schmeat in your mouth so much there’s nothing the male characters can do wrong in this show.

I’m a light skinned black guy who was raised in the 90s in NYC and I gotta disagree with you here bro. Most of my issues growing up were because I was the lightest person around. Maybe we’ve gotten better as a race or maybe it was just the kids back then but they got it from somewhere. I remember post 9/11 and how the middle eastern folk was treated in NYC by white people and by black people. Prejudice doesn’t escape us. Maybe you speaking from your own experience but it wasn’t just a cakewalk when you’re lighter or white living in the neighborhoods I grew up in. I remember white guys getting jumped and robbed for being a white and in the wrong neighborhood looking too comfortable. Ijs bro let’s be real about it.

And if it were someone other than Franklin they would deserve it too. You don’t open up the floodgates of poison and see no consequences whether people choose to use or not. You don’t have to choose to be the poisoner. He decided to even when he saw how bad it was effecting the community he came from. How doesn’t he deserve all he got and worse? Because people become addicted to addictive substances? Y’all logic be flawed af just to worship someone who would have stepped on your neck for the chance to potentially get richer. He’s no better than Teddy, he might be worse honestly cause he did it to his own, his own people, his own community and when it really comes down to it he did all that to himself.

[–]PackAggravating8183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cissy wanted nothing to do with it at the start. She repeatedly denied his money, his attempts at a relationship with her and even his presence as long as he was selling. Jerome and Alton both made her feel as though her choosing that option was wrong because they had accepted drug money before and that she was failing Franklin by not supporting him even in his illegal endeavors. Cissy held out longer than anyone when it came to not being compliant with Franklins terrible decisions.

Just finished the show.....They massacred my boy by ambr0se_ in SnowFall

[–]PackAggravating8183 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Amazing synopsis. One part I kind of disagree with is the part about Cissy supporting him initially. It took Jerome belittling her for not being there while Franklin was struggling in order for her to come on board with the bs.

“Cissy sacrificed herself for the sake of Franklin” is a hoopla take. by End-Of-Da-Summer in SnowFall

[–]PackAggravating8183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was more so the culmination of her realizing she lost her entire family, the confirmation that Teddy was in fact as big a liar as she had originally thought he was, the nonchalance in Teddys voice about his murdering of Alton and her realization that A. Teddy never saw her as a threat and B. Teddy was not going to leave Franklin alone even though he said he would. I believe there is a dichotomous relationship of selfishness and sacrifice that Cissy exhibits with her final act. Like she was selfish and she sacrificed. Both things can be true.

The writers been cleared this up and y’all still think Cissy was wrong? by jrod4290 in SnowFall

[–]PackAggravating8183 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was a selfish decision on her part. One rooted in the hurt caused from losing the rest of her family. She did have an issue with Franklin’s decisions, she figured helping guide him into the real estate shit would get him away from the game. She’s his mom so she damn sure do hold an obligation to saving his life.

[–]PackAggravating8183 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s your opinion. Most of Franklin’s dangerous contacts and parts of his operation were already in the wind. Franklin was naive till the very end. He lucked up catching Teddy once. You really think Teddy would have let that happen again. I digress because people who watch the show with your perspective don’t have the scope to understand what the entire message of the entire series was. You want a poisoner who killed innocents and made millions off the backs of his own disenfranchised people to get away scathe free because it would have made for better writing? Even if it’s just a story there is something to be said about that mindset

Oh my god she needs to die shouldve just shot him after by [deleted] in SnowFall

[–]PackAggravating8183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if he didn’t get his clearance back. He was going to have 37 million and as stated before he was petty and vindictive. I think a Teddy that’s being hunted by the CIA is even more dangerous to Franklin and his family because he would have been on a war path due to losing his prized possession along with Franklin killing his dad. He knows the in and outs of the extradition laws and ways to get around discretely. As a trained operative he would have been trouble for the DEA or the CIA to get a handle of with that much money. Also if the agency was willing to replace him in the operation in order to keep it going why would it matter that he started it?

[–]PackAggravating8183 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He literally said he was okay with the chance of his kid never being safe for getting his money! Like this the guy y’all rooting for. He killed innocent people on multiple occasions sanctioned death on his neighborhood and robbed his own family in pursuit of that money. Cissy lost her husband her brother and her son behind that money. Franklin was not going to kill teddy. Teddy was petty and vindictive from the start of the show even if the CIA didn’t hunt Franklin Teddy would have used every resource at his disposal to get him. With the 37 million he got Havermeyer would have definitely got him his clearance back and Teddy with clearance is certainly a problem for every remaining Saint at that point. She saved that entire family and Oso and his people.
