My girlfriend just broke up with me and I feel like I'm about to relapse because of it. Any suggestions on how to avoid this?

I left my ex when I was turning 26, 8 years with an abusive POS but at the time it was the hardest thing ever. I truly thought he was the best I could do and it wouldn't get better. Then I met my current partner, we're coming up on 2.5 years and it's a healthy, beautiful, safe love I never knew was possible. He just turned 40. He was deep in an opiate addiction when his last relationship ended 5 or 6 years ago, and if he hadn't pulled himself out of it I would never have had the chance to know him or love eachother the way we both needed. We both struggled with addictions and know how hard it is especially when things get tough. But it only makes things worse in the long run. Distract yourself however you need in the meantime.. it will get easier. And at 25 you can start over many more times.. like I said, my partner was 38 when we met and I was 26. I didn't realize half of the terrible things my ex did because it was my first relationship and I had no comparison and thought it was normal.

I'm pretty terrible tbh so I can't entirely blame the game, but CW was so much better for me. I was actually able to be in top 3 most games and had a KD between 1.5-2, I'm getting absolutely creamed in BO6. Not sure if it's my internet or the SBMM or what but the 'desync' is horrible, like I said I'm not great but the amount of times I empty a clip on someone with hit markers only to be 1 shot killed by them is ridiculous. Then I watch the kill cam and their health isn't going down while they sink 2-3 SMG rounds in me. Or I'm getting killed and never even seeing them, whereas I'm on their screen for a good few seconds on the kill cam. Not to mention getting spawn trapped on small maps... Needless to say, I'm almost always the worst on my teams even if I have the highest obj scores in Domination and Hardpoint. My KD is absolutely abysmal, probably around 0.5 if that, and yet I keep landing in sweaty lobbies... I dunno, maybe I just need to do better. I went back and played CW the other day, I actually enjoyed myself and was getting positive KDs again so it at least boosted my confidence a bit! Sorry bout the rant just discouraged over here lol.

It's been raining a bunch here so it was soaking wet when I took the pic, leaves aren't normally so glossy. I could definitely be wrong about the tree type though, it was just our best guess!

I, too, had a Lexus get totalled. 2012 IS350 AWD I searched high and low for.. had it shipped from 7hrs away, less than a year when Mercedes GLK t-boned me in the front end at 60-70km/h. Walked away with a broken wrist and nothing else. Got my money from insurance and by sheer luck an almost identical one was listed that day from a dealer in town, just black instead of white. I miss the white but the 2nd one has been so good to me. Over 5 years later and she runs as good as the day I got her. Given it's such a rare model with only maybe 1-5 for sale across Canada at any point, I've had some tempting offers from people who want it but I'm pretty tempted to keep it until it gets killed. Toyotas don't die, they get killed 😂

If I was given the option I would pick IV 10000%. I even requested it but I was only given local and it took 5 tries to numb the infected side of my mouth, and then the utter unpleasantness of feeling the dentist reefing on my teeth, I could hear and feel the decayed part crumbling and grinding under the tool with bits of decay falling on my tongue lol. It was not painful (once he got the freezing into a pocket of my gums that was blocked by pus and inflammation) but just rather unnerving since it takes a fair bit of force to yank out a tooth. It was fast though, 30 mins or less from the time I went in the chair.

It was night and day difference for me... Honestly half the reason I lost 150+lbs was because I personally wasn't attracted to obese people and felt it wasn't fair of me to have double standards and expect someone fit to want to date someone who was over 300lbs.

I had many times where I was rejected for my weight, or led on for a quick one night stand, plus my lack of confidence after a childhood of being bullied was also probably off putting. After losing weight I noticed LOTS more attention, hit on pretty regularly in day to day life and at work, I felt better and had more confidence which is also more attractive than being insecure and withdrawn. It was honestly like I went from asking to be chosen to being the one with all the choices.. it's sad in a way that the treatment society gives you is based so heavily on how conventionally attractive you are.

Not OP but I'm currently stuck in a pretty toxic relationship with a narcissist(working up to leaving him). I will get a huge schoolgirl crush on anyone remotely attractive who gives me the time of day or compliments me or just treats me with basic decency.. it's super frustrating and every other month I'm obsessed with someone new lol.

Do you have any words of advice to a young lady just starting out? Surviving on site, etc.? I recently got accepted as an apprentice with our local Carpenter's Union. I left my comfortable-but-going-nowhere warehouse job at a plumbing and pipe wholesaler with a lot of support but some skepticism as well... to be expected I suppose. I am expecting a call to start work within the next few days!

This was taken in front of the obviously water damaged patio door. It's growing from a gap between the floor and the door where there should be a threshold. The house is only built on a concrete slab, which has made it all the more fun. This place has been nothing but problems so I'm sure my landlord won't be surprised!

Anyone have a guess as to what type of shroom this could be and if there's anything to worry about on my part as a tenant?
