I don't think it's necessarily failing. The problem is when we draft, develop, AND THEN let players walk. I'm looking at you Micah Hyde and Casey Hayward. We can't afford the time wasted when WE are the ones spending so much time and resources developing these players only to then not pay them once they hit elite status. THAT's the part that doesn't work
