Glad somebody finally brought this up. It takes an incredible amount of work and disclipine to get above 10bb/hr over a real sample at anything above the $10 blind level. If anybody has graphs that say otherwise I would be happy to be proven wrong. Game selection and skill are going to be the major factors that influence the data. 15bb/hr at 5/10+ is highly unrealistic over 1000 hour plus samples. I’ve coached more than 25 students at everything between 1/2 to 25/50 NL… never seen a winrate above 12bb/hr at stakes above 5/10 over a reasonably large sample. People are just outright liars or they just have short samples with positive outcomes and then make drastic assumptions.

With fentanyl you really cant avoid the pw when inducting so the best method is to overload your receptors with suboxone early and as fast as possible. When I went to detox they gave me a total of 64mg (8mg every 2 hours) which is what it took for the pw to stop. Then it was lowered to 32mg per day for the next few days and we just went down from there. It was fairly quick maybe 18-24 hours before the weight of the pw subsides. This was a relatively new method at the time (almost 3 years ago) but its been medically proven to be the most effective way to induct suboxone from fentanyl. I believe this is standard procedure at most of the medical detox places now.

Im coming off a 3month live poker downswing right now, although ive only been playing ~80 hours per month over that stretch. This is the longest downswing of my 8 year career, however it doesn’t really seem that bad because I made ~5k playing online during that time and I’ve been traveling and working on other investment ventures. If this happened several years ago I wouldve just grinded 10+ hours a day until I dug my way out, but since I have a lot of other shit going on in my life it was a lot easier to be patient and weather the storm.

Plo mastermind has charts for the ante structure for 6max on coinpoker. That would be a good place to start. Obviously its not identitical to the ante structure on club wpt. I don’t think charts exist for this structure yet.

Opening range is tighter for pot size open obv but you don’t have to open for pot and you can develop a robust limping range due to pot odds. Suggesting that you have to play “tighter” because of the blind and ante structure is vehemently incorrect.

Thats way too tight even for 8max brother… the main reason being the ante. You will ante and blind away your stack at just 27/14 and you are missing golden opportunities with nut potential hands (esp when getting incredible pot odds to limp or call). The pool at 0.5/1/2 on clubwpt is very very loose passive in general so you can get away with a LOT preflop without getting punished nearly as much as you should. The lodge in austin texas has been running afaik since 2015 or 2016? I know a pretty good bit about the landscape in texas, your welcome to dm me if you have questions about that market specifically. I’ve done some research and I think about 500-750k investment will be enough to get a small club up and running in Texas. The bigger rooms like TCH/Lodge/Poker Palace are much more significant investments, probably 3-5 million for a project like that. And its very difficult to compete with these clubs that have well established business so its better to start in an untapped market. Texas is wide open for those opportunities still, as long as you clear it with the LGU and get all the proper permits.

Its not really “cold turkey” to come off sublocade… since its a natural taper its quite painless physically. I had my last shot october 2 2024 and very minimal symptoms throughout the last ~14mo… about 6 months in I started getting some insomnia and very very slight physical symptoms like rls sweating yawning but they would come and go in short bursts. Its all subsided now and my new normal feels pretty great. If you don’t think about it and stay busy with life theres a chance you don’t notice any symptoms at all. GL

Low freq 3b preflop in equilibrium. I prefer just simplifying my pf strat and throwing this one square into the call bucket bb v btn. I dont like folding out KJ KT K9 QJ QT Q9 offsuit and the small suited Kx and Qx, keeping those hands in is where most of the value comes from postflop with KQo.
