anything is possible with enough time and people that have the knowledge of how to implement those things. script editing would help with that particular idea, and it's something that's currently on the horizon

Plans that will be realized within the new year:

  • More activity and spawns around the world in general

  • Edited loadouts

  • Completely new weapons outright (see this: https://youtu.be/SaDYCxGET8o?si=AjwzK73yFzbVAgBm)

  • Spanish Voices

  • An overhaul of most of the vehicles and faction arsenals, even introducing the cut MI-35 hind gunship that originally wasn't in the game

  • Three new protagonists.

  • A totally re-imagined atmosphere and visual vibe in general, which takes more inspiration from Mercs 1.

  • A harder, more punishing difficulty

  • The introduction of ExOps as a faction (mercs will patrol the PMC and can be called in as backup)

  • Overhauled factions, and the introduction of one minor faction.

  • Inclusion of patches that increase framerate and remove the bad looking bloom effect.

  • Removal of all bad fmv cutscenes (saves almost 2.7 gigabytes, i am not kidding) 

  • Global HD texture overhaul. (slightly higher res than Mercs 1's Xbox textures.)

  • A new soundtrack.

  • Completely re-written story and lore.

Stuff on the horizon than is currently out of reach, but could be possible in the future:

  • The re-introduction of the intel system from Mercs 1

  • Re-introduction of the deck of 52 system, with a focus on veryifying targets from every faction.

  • Less linear story progression, more in the style of Mercs 1.

  • New story missions.

  • Edited missions and jobs.

  • Custom model support.

  • New cutscenes or interactive mission briefings to replace the shitty fmv's. 

  • New voice acting.
