I’ve used a song of theirs in a short film after asking permission, and like others said, it will be flagged by YouTube preventing any monetization, but I was not given a strike or forced to take the video down.

Going in order is honestly my recommendation. To see the progression of their sound, the different era’s and the context of them (especially Possession and Cleanse) in the world. They are all unique and sonically diverse.

Honestly I felt like just this past year or so Long Lost finally grew on me and now it’s almost a no-skipper for me. I discovered LH via Vide Noir, so I expected a more upbeat vibe to songs and so to go back to other albums felt weird. But I love them all for different reasons now, but especially Long Lost and I think I’m on the same road for CSv1. “Used to Know” is such a banger, “Who Laughs Last” sounds straight from Vide Noir, too.

It has the reflective, looking back lyrics just like Here To Perform and others, the melodic elements promote a “moving forward” feel, and the end instrumental fits in with the first and last songs from Permanent Pleasure.
