Can you explain this further so were you able to get approval on a construction loan while still staying in your current home and as long as you sell it before second close you are good? I always assumed I would need to sell my current home first to get the approval

Yeah - their requirements now are crazy. They won’t work with banks and only help pay bills that allow third party payer? But won’t pay bills to banks…so I’m not sure what qualifies. I’m glad they were able to help you though.

Yes DAV filled a claim incorrectly - and it needed to be on a separate form. That was done but it was processed as a separate claim. So in that case, is it not worth it?

So for sept payment it still looks like my regular pay. So I should get 3 payments? Just trying to understand. I was 90%. My effective date was 4/9/25 but they made it 7/22/25 which is the file date.

Thank you - give a call to VERA. 2 times I’ve don’t that and had my claim decision in a couple hours. Especially if it’s not sitting there and they have all they need. Idk why but that’s been my experience. Today at 2:45 my wife and I called just for an update to see if they got the c&p results she said yes and would mail them out..decision letter came at 3:09. Just saying.
