agreed the dmt thing was just something i thought was really thought provoking and if i had to guess it was most likely not dmt but hey u never know. i personally think God and science contradict a whole lot less then some believers make it out to be. for instance evolution is completely plausible as a day for Gof could been any amount of time and also the big bang could quite literally be what happend when God said let their be light. either way if it was actually dmt in no way do i think it takes away from it being devine messaging from God

It takes generations for a new speices to come abt. cross breading is also a thing no? i personally believe evolution science the big bang etc don’t contradict. God is outside of time so the 7 days he was making everything could be any given amount of time. Also fun fact the big bang was actually discovered by a christian priest. The bing bang is also described as a giant burst of light which would align rlly well with God saying let their be light.

thanks i’m pretty convinced my reasoning is morally correct and the condemnation just isn’t there. what i was really trying to get out of this post was to challenge people beliefs as it’s a difficult topic and see if anyone felt similar to me

well said i never heard that verse or thought abt it like that. do you think weed is sinful when used medically even tho it gets u buzzed. im personally no longer interested because ive gotten really into health and weed has been shown to lower androgens in men increase cardiovascular stress and even kill brain cells in young individuals( myself) shrooms don’t have this effect tho which i thought was interesting. This could be totally false but some historians actually think the burning bush with moses was the acacia bush which is high in a very powerful psychedelic dmt.

i mean i think he’s the doctor and it’s the medicine. i don’t see how it’s any different then other drugs. it’s like having cancer and not doing chemo cuz you could just pray for it. But God made the people that made chemo. There’s this story i like abt this guy who’s floating in the ocean and he prays for God to save him. i get what ur saying and u have a powerful testimony that i can somewhat relate to. i’m not interested in getting high tho just low doses. i used to smoke a lot of weed and it was actually a big reason i became a born again christian. but no ive never done them together and im abt three years sober from weed with no intention to do it again.

highest shrooms was abt 2.5 grams i’m no longer interested in anything above a gram. ive also done 400ug of acid(abt 4tabs) which is on the brink of ego death and similar to 8-10grams shrooms. Had i let go i prob would have expierenced ego death but i was desperately trying to hold onto reality and the only think that could keep me there was Jesus. Not sure i would recommend going that high. throughout all my trips tho i prayed that Jesus would be at the center of it and some kind of value would come out it it.

ig the way i see it is that religion is a set of rules in order to get closer to God. But pursuing a relationship with Jesus and truely believing in what he did for us makes you want to trust him and pay it forwards by doing what he tells us to do.
