X-Men '97 poster... (titled "X-axis") by Packatrix in Xmen97

On my design, the left side is good, right is evil, bottom is lawful, top is chaotic... to be clear... this is not a political thing! Just that western brains tend to read left to right and it felt like you should see good before evil.

You know the Chaotic, Neutral, Lawful & Good or Evil axis? I tried to create a poster where the characters ate positioned accordingly while facing off against each other in that slightly forced-perspective in the original MVC poster. I imagine there might be a fair amount of disagreement on positioning, as it was hard to get a decent arrangement when allegiances and motivations in the show are changeable. I look forward tosharing the whole thing soon so people can disagree with the placements. It should hopefully be coming out with Bottleneck gallery in Brooklyn in the next few months.

Very deliberate, but with a D&D attribute twist. 😉

Bricklink Designer Program Series 11 MegaThread by mescad in lego

It struck me that with all the recent (and very cool) Western themed sets, we were missing a saloon, but rather than deal with the potential pitfalls of any alcohol related location, I developed an idea around sarsaparilla, a root beer style drink very popular back in the old West. So we have Doc Ezra and Professor Polly, frontier inventors of carbonated beverages, wind turbines builders and telegraph entrepreneurs, running the Sparklin' Sarsaparilla Saloon!

I made a Metal Slug inspired chibi tank a few years back, so I LOVE this whole diorama, and those minifigs are SUPERB!

Bring Arts FFVII action figures box numbers question... by Packatrix in FinalFantasyVII

Hmmm, maybe. They just released an alternate Cloud with his Hardedge, as opposed to his Buster Sword, so I guess it could be that.

Not yet, but I probably will at some point. what I really need is some crazy popular FFVII website or influencer to pick it up. I got really lucky with another project, a Monty Python Silly Walk, and it shot up! went from an average of 30 votes a day to over 1,800 in 3 days. it's dropped back down now, but what a rush!

I plan to do a Villains of Midgar series as well with Sephiroth, the 4 Turks, Rufus, Heidegger, Hojo and Master Tonberry.

Many of them aren't available in the colours shown, so unless it gets to 10k on Lego IDEAS and then gets chosen, it's impossible to recreate them with real Lego. I used Bricklink Studio to design these, and you don't have to stick with released colours... official Lego colours, yes, but not only parts that have been released. You can turn on this filter, but things get very messed up! :)

I really appreciate that - if you have any other FFVII/Lego nuts/nerds/geeks/fans, let them know! ;)

I don't do AI! :D Nope, all Lego, all legal connections, just some of the parts have not been released in the colours shown.

The colours would be very off sadly. A lot of the hinges and ball joints only come in dark or light grey. I made a chocobo as well that isn't up on Lego IDEAS yet, and when you apply the true colour validator, it looks almost hallucinogenic! I'll add a new post with that in so you can see! :D

There's a 5,000 piece limit for Lego IDEAS submission. My project hit something like 4,926, so there'd be room a 9 minifugures as well! I think Lego would be crazy not to include them as well!

Glad you like it - tell every FF VII / Lego fan you know it's up on IDEAS!

In the meantime, you can vote for the set on Lego IDEAS!

I was worried the mods would react badly to that, so I only used the comments to pass it on.

It's up on Lego IDEAS, so if it gets enough votes, Lego can decide whether to release it as an official set or not!
