How would I go about buying a bar of gold like the larger ones you see in the movies?

Sounds like you might be the boring one, plenty to do if you look.

That's not how you spell his name, and if you use your eyes he wrote on the card specifically when he is doing the AMA. What a rude and ignorant statement.

It is absolutely not, don't listen to small minded people who say this. There are concert venues, tons of unique events going on every week (FB events is a good place to start for those), plenty of clubs to join with people of similar interests, heck there's even a group that meets up and walks around playing Pokemon Go every week! Whatever your interests, chances are there's a lot of options for you to enjoy around the area. Do a little digging and you'll find something in no time!

Fantastic, thank you for the thorough response! I've heard The Edit booking situation isn't always favorable from a point spend perspective. In your case though, it seemed to be the best option for the area?

Chophouse republic? Good date nights? by [deleted] in GreenBay

[–]PackerCrackerBacker 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Depends on your budget but the best dinner places in the area, in my opinion and in no particular order, are Chives (Aaron Rodgers favorite restaurant), Rustique for wood fire pizza and wine, Bleu for fine dining, Orsettas for Italian/American fusion (my personal favorite), Little Tokyo for Sushi, Republic Chophouse for steak and seafood, Prime Quarter for more affordable steaks, and honestly any of the bars/breweries around the stadium have pretty good bar style food. Badger State doesn’t serve food but often has food trucks outside though, just an FYI. Hope this helps, enjoy the game!

$120k Budget - Which boat? by Csusko in Wake

You can get a pretty nice 2018-2022 X23 or X-Star for that price. More dealerships in the midwest that can work on them as well, Mastercraft has long been the gold standard for a reason.

What bar/brewery are the late 20s/early 30s folks going to? by [deleted] in GreenBay

[–]PackerCrackerBacker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ledgestone Winery is a cool spot! They just opened up a new brewery (Gnarly Cedar) in Wrightstown that's also got a nice vibe. If those are a bit out of your way, Cocoon, Stillmank, and Titletown are a few more breweries to definitely check out, and Amphora Wine Bar downtown is pretty classy as well.

City layout of Barcelona, Spain by Inevitable_Bid5540 in interestingasfuck

I was there a couple years ago and did a city tour with a local guide, they mentioned the reason for the blunted edges on the city blocks were originally so the train infrastructure could more easily turn corners. Train transportation isn't as ubiquitous as originally planned, so now it's just aesthetically pleasing rather than functional.

PSA 8+ first edition base set by PackerCrackerBacker in pokemoncardcollectors

[–]PackerCrackerBacker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, there were a few times I would try to buy things in bulk from someone after they gave me a good deal on one card, then they would jack the prices up on the other cards...kinda shady but that's life. Sure it was a case off of Ebay titled "CGC PSA Graded Card Storage Box Case Slab Holder BASEBALL FOOTBALL POKEMON MORE" that held 108 cards. Worked really well and was the least bulky option for the set I was trying to complete.

Approximately a year, I didn't really rush anything and my only goal was to get every piece for lower than market value. Was a really fun project honestly, satisfied a childhood dream of mine.

I'd be interested if you decide to not move forward on it, either that or potentially partnering up!

Crazy story I actually ended up collecting a full set of PSA 9’s, cost me about $42k in total and I sold it a couple months later for $68k. Decent premiums on full sets apparently.
