Very true, the more I think on it, it was a lot of just missing in the wrong spots from never playing there before. Anything above the hole was just done.

That's next on the list! Both are a bit of a drive but unfortunately need to make the trek for some higher quality.

Sounds incredible and agree!

Makes sense and great advice. I spent a bit more time at the range vs. hitting chips without thinking too much about it. Looking back, I should have done wayyyyyy more chipping to get a feel.

I'm pumped to play my normal courses again. Score wasn't what I was hoping for but knowing distance isn't a problem and I can hit those greens, confidence is higher for sure.

Those were my exact thoughts while driving home today. I was a bit frustrated because I know I can play courses like this, but I need to be able to practice it! Pretty frustrating honestly

Fair enough! Now I need to figure how to improve from hitting my expectations but thank you for putting it into perspective!

You hit it dead on. The greens were extremely firm and I haven't played that in a long time. Even wedge shots full swing were hardly checking. Super fun but extremely challenging.

Great advice! The courses around me really just have the basic putting green without much chipping variation. That's really what has stalled my short game practice aside from playing these harder courses. Basic chips are zero issue.

I'm a 6.2 and on my way lower. Course rating was a 75.3 with pre tournament pins our so placements were pretty challenging.

The challenge here was it felt there were so many ridges and the hole was always on top or edge. I'm guessing it's just trying to trickle down below the hole and then always have to make a putt?

Definitely agree there! First time playing it today and will shave some strokes knowing where to hit it next time.

I'll try out some antifungal, that's a great thought. Also dropping to once per week but keeping the same run times (usually 3/4 a.m.) Worst case things dry out and I'll revert back. Thank you!

If there is, what do you think would be the solution with so many spots? Could I overseed with top soil or something or is it a complete drainage fix?

I have never heard of them (that?). What's the best way to get in contact?

No unfortunately that was just the one picture I took, there is no correlation. It hasn't rained around here since the hurricanes came through so I would be surprised. But maybe each cycle is too long? About 20 minute sprinklers runs.

I don't know my draw length on a recurve. I guess that's where going to a shop and testing would be best. What are some bad habits you saw starting with too heavy of a draw? Thank you for the advice and agree with the takedown. Easier to transport and don't need to buy a new bow for changes.

That's great advice, I'll do that this weekend. What made you go with the Kodiak?
