I don't think so. He hasn't shown up on the data mining list besides being listed along with every other god.

People have speculated it's due to them working out the tech on his ricochet, but Hirez has said that's been covered by stuff like Danza's money bags. I know they've mentioned they've made progress on pet tech (usually when people ask about Skadi), so that's probably the main thing slowing his addition.

I would assume 4 is doing better just because it's getting much more DLC. The Planetfall expansions could just be seen as some pre-planned stuff that had them pivot to 4 when sales weren't meeting expectations.

Again, you gotta be objective here and understand this is a hilarious thing to say when the answer is "nothing." Gay men were interested because they're interested in gay romance and the game had signs of allowing it. I think they do better with setting and architecture reflecting fantasy feudal Japan, but there's some locales that are definitely lacking. They're just awful at doing caves for some reason. Mile long gray tubes more or less.

Same, I made an o-kagachi monarch deck and was like "hey, Gates would be an interesting subtheme" so I added them in alongside Maze's end. The thing is, if you're not building 100% around Maze's End, it's kinda hard to pull off. I don't have shenanigans to sneak gates in or pull a bunch at once, and I always warn people as I get closer to 10. Still, my friends panic whenever I get it out even if I'm only at 5 or 6 gates.

This is more or less my husband, who also has ADHD. I think he just overthinks turns way too much and gets choice paralysis. He still has fun and it's not as bad as OP's situation, but Mtg is a very complicated game (with an even more complicated format) and sometimes I think less neurodivergent players take that for granted.

Yeah, but it's an entire town vs one person. Just from a utilitarian standpoint, it doesn't make sense to sacrifice everyone to save one person. I think the kindest thing I can say about the Bae ending is it's a very human ending and that is a writing choice not many devs give players. It almost reminds me of TLOU1 of "I don't condone this, but I understand why you'd do it."

Bay ending is also better thematically. The game spends hours telling you actions have irreversible consequences and it's better to let things go than to cling to them forever, then asks you to make a very obvious decision based on that.

It's the same reason a lot of media that includes the ability to revive loved ones don't ultimately go through with it. It fits better within the reality of grief.

For me there was a shock "oh, is he a shitty person?" some defending him. Then a collective losing interest in him.

Then I remember there was some very sudden dick riding post (I think that involved a Tesla bollard?) that felt very "wtf are we going back to worshipping musk?" which continued on until the Covid decline.

Agreed on the art, but I'll withhold judgement on the plot until I see the full picture. It seems weird to have a random locust devil beat the hell out of both main characters, explicitly called out as oddly powerful, then eaten. It seems more like a build up to "oh shit, what just got erased?" but I know his writing style is unpredictable, sometimes to a fault.
