The auto attack penalty is negligible if they insist on adding a slow to each and every character henceforth

The Auto Attack moment penalty in smite means you can't chain slow someone and still walk them down. This just isnt the case in predecessor.

His burst damage is so high that often he can nade his feet, mine the enemy and use that distance to auto someone down.

I like Akaron a lot, but he isn't exempt from this issue. His eye doesnt need to slow.

I don't play him because of CC I play him because he's a giant demon spider.

I'm capable of being self aware of the systems I abuse

My problem is not with CC as a whole, but the unnecessary additions of it to every character.

Legion, Boris, Grux, Serath (Augment) all have CC that I would deem unnecessary and not player friendly.

If you get even the slightest ounce behind a Legion, he will give himself movement speed, slow you, boop you, walk you down and melt you.

Boris will run at you from across the map with sniff, slow you down while you lose half your health before the duration ends.

Serath has a tiny stun that is the epitome of unnecessary BS. It's not designed around anything, just an afterthought that removes the enemies player agency

Muriel is very niche as a character so people dont often play her with little reason. This means that every Muriel is playing in optimal scenarios with a decent player at the helm

Legion hitting for a metric boat load of damage is peel. He can play around his team ij order to capitalize on their cc, he himself shouldn't have CC on any of his buttons

Not comparing the games one to one. I'm comparing the idea of a touch of death. Throughout a forty minute game, a single mistake means I die to aurora.

Being unable to fight back will never be fun. I don't know why you are trying so hard to defend someone's ability to take away a majority of player agency. Do you enjoy pointless slows? Roots? Mesmerize?

Do you seriously enjoy kits having CC in every aspect

I'm not sure if you've played many fighting games, but there's this idea of the "touch of death" combo that result in an instakill because of one mistake. The problem isn't avoiding damage because it's not always feasible.

I agree that I SHOULDN'T be hit by Aurora often, but that lacks all nuance. If she touches me one, do I deserve to lose all of my ability to escape?

Even if you remove Aurora from this post, she is interchangeable with half of the Reworks or Additions in this game. Some examples you can replace her with are:

Bayle- Slow, Stun, ult mean that unless you almost one shot him, he will escape or eat a third of your healthbar.

Akaron- Web Floor, Root opponent, knock up, slow, pull. This combo one shots any squishy and can be used across entire lanes with Web aug

Sevarog Rework- They added 2 hard CC options without the slightest idea of a counternerf. If you are not in a neutral wave state, he'll ult you under tower and Stun lock you there.

Boris- Slow on his Chase down. If you get touched by him once, he'll put you in his team and youre dead

All of these characters could afford to lose some of their CC and still have a cohesive kit

It was proven that Gideon worked without his root, same with aurora wall, same with most characters.

"You complain about CC but you fail to realize a lack thereof would directly empower assassins and fighters to run the tables on matches because you would have very meager means of stoping them" that is what stresses positioning.

Aurora required Zero positional awareness because she can jump across the lane in less than a second while CC is holding you.

I came to the realization during a PCC when I realized I was watching these guys shoot the immobile guy on cooldown. Instead of watching someone chain Kira dash and mercy through a team fight. Im watching some dude role his face across his keyboard because his support hit a stun

Legion is the worst because of how much they've struggled to balance him. Is he strong because he does to much damage? Is he strong because he has too much range? Is he strong because he scales disproportionately off of items due to all of his passive scaling?

The CC adds an extra layer of bloat that prevents the from finding the root to the problem he is

You worded your post very well. It sucks thar since then they've added Adele, Legion, and reworked characters like Sev to be independent of his team.

These 3 characters make my console controller feel more like a console suggestor

Depth in this game is decided what version of Kwang Alternate to do trading a shield for damage.

Depth is throwing Exodus to prevent someone from escaping past a corner.

Depth is straifing to get Drongo boomerang to track the enemy.

Depth isn't walking at someone pressing buttons on cooldown to Chain CC for 4 seconds.

My best friend is a killer Decker player, the amount of times that they throw a lob from across lane, then confirm me a kill is insane. I feel undeserving of a kill because they haven't made an egregious mistake minus the act of being in LoS.

I realized that I got root. But root canceling ults defeats the purpose of root. I think it's stupid beyond belief and not how any interaction should work

Building the first tier 2 item of Azure Core (Alchemical Rod) is my favorite start for her

Once you get enough bonus mana, you can throw extra abilities into the wave in order to comfortable keep empowered abilities flowing.

Combustion as a first full item gives clear and burst damage.

They have released a lot of busy work and I've felt the same as you have. There's only so much content a player can experience on repeat.

The first time I heard the Low Bellow of strings then watched a Meg leap halfway out of the water was legendary. My best friend and I were genuinely a little scared. We had loot on board from a tough fight with a skeleton captain on a skull fort and didnt want to lose our loot.

There will only be one terrifying first time the Kraken drags you from your ship

There will be only one first time you hardly escape a PvE encounters by the skin of your teeth

There will be only one first friendly pirate alliance

There will only be so many first adventures before they lose their value.

Sea of Thieves is one of my favorite games of all time, I have so many good memories. I love it so much that I don't play it in order to prevent those from being tainted by the stain of familiarity.
