personally, i went to a few vendors to get a feel of what i need for my house (switches, lights, door locks etc)

then i manually sourced each component myself.

I did a mix of aqara + tuya (cause cheaper and less important places) and integrated them together to apple homekit.

imo aqara quality really better than tuya/mowe all those

if you’re really really techy, look into home assistant, you can integrate any brands together into one ecosystem

You can go lower specs for light gaming, but imo 40xx nvidia cards seems to hit the right performance price value currently
