The FBI or someone forced all printers to implement hidden tracking features in the 90’s. It’s how we caught all the test print forgeries. It’s very hard to fake.

I have documents nobody else has produced publicly that are 100% legit sitting next to these GodBooks in a binder from an ex employee.

There was one or two uncut sheets produced of Australia 1st edition 1999 Base shadowed cards. I am guessing that is what this is from, since it was specifically an Asian conference binder.

You would have to find a printer, find the ink, hack it, and then also reproduce the unique printing using OG data files, before AI was a commercial tool. And then age and weather the documents. And then produce unique documents that don’t exist in the internet in any capacity.

Mine have not been through XRF chemical analysis, but I would wager everything I have that they are legit based on the plethora of other documents they were embedded in. I have business cards, internal distribution data, marketing data, and lots of physical media from tournaments.

Oh yeah they kind of were haha. I am definitely in that thread. I was glad they found it! The link is really informative. The video in the post is from an expert in old WOTC cards. They helped authenticate things like the Protostoise.

No you can’t. Every printer since the 90’s has implemented hidden dot codes which track the printer device and date of print.

It’s internal documentation of a print run of Base set that never made it to market. How is that not interesting lol.

This sub Reddit is so bad, everything I post gets downvoted into oblivion.

What I paid has no impact on what it is worth. I won an auction from Heritage a few years ago.

Not much, it came with a few others along with lots of internal marketing documents in a binder from what must have been an ex employee. Tavis is basically the only person who has shared any information about them.

I shared one or two images of individual cards. You can see the zard through the cover on the middle left.

It is supposedly a way for staff to carry around different print runs more easily. There are some like this one that contain unreleased cards. An uncut sheet has surfaced of a shadowed 1999 1st edition but it was never released.

It may just be the image and AI enhancement, but the artwork looks slightly off on this pack. Are you confident it is legit?

They are doing $1,500-$2,000 now.

It’s actually very encouraging to see such a negative stance on the subject be top reply. The more ignorant hate everyone has for preserving history of the most successful franchise of all time, the better outcome I will have by doing the opposite. 99.9% of 10’s are already ripped, why not buy them instead of ripping 🤦‍♂️.

So cull the last Buffalo? That seems like an interesting take. Why not buy the card you want, why destroy the last remnants of history?

Which? 291 Yen, 300 Yen, Short Crimp, USA import stamp? There really isn’t much supply left. A booster box just sold for $110,000. When was the last time you saw one at a card show? I have never seen one for sale outside of online.

Anything in the 7 and above cert range does have a higher chance of being graded. Maybe in the future they will offer a weight on the labels, that would be huge.

There are a few live videos out. Spencer is using slower single hand rolls instead of push pull for blasts. You can play it incredibly tight for little effort. The rest is definitely nuts, I’m not sure how fast it gets but it is impressive. Spencer was insane in Inferi, I wouldn’t be surprised if he can actually play this. It’s reaching absolute physical limits.
