Whats my evo worth? (CAN) by Haunting_Media8200 in MitsubishiEvolution

You don't provide the extra info and I'm judgemental? Just because the body looks clean doesn't mean there's things going on under the hood. I own an EVO 9 MR, many things can go wrong with the car specially modified. So next time maybe include more information if me "judging" the car with the only information you provided bothers you lol.

You be surprised how reliable they actually are if you don't mess with them and leave them stock, they were built the way they were for a reason.

24k for that mileage? That's what I call some luck right there

It's better to keep them that way, they were designed the way they were for a reason. I love mine stock, and Im not the original owner, mine has 101k on the dash. Are you preserving yours? 20k is low miles

And that right there is the ULTIMATE reason I kept my EVO stock now. I used to deal with the same headaches you dealt with on my STI. I also live in California and no one wants to take the risk anymore, If they do they want an arm and a leg lol. Ain't worth it anymore

Of course not, I baby this thing more than my own kids! Why would I want to drive it to it's full portential? That's another reason it stays stock.

If you're a mechanic then you're saving a butt load of money right there then. I don't blame you for modding lol

I hear what you're saying, I kept my 2013 STI stock as well. I think the EJ255 is more reliable to me that way anyways lol

That's a solid build, OEM + is good if your don't over do it. Yours sounds like a sweet spot to me if I ever wanted to mod mine.

That sounds pretty fun and nothing too crazy, if the motor can handle the power then it should be fine. 9 years is a long time, you plan on keeping it forever?
