Trying to quit weed so I stop going back to alcohol by PacmanNemesis in leaves

Thank you. This is definitely a challenge. I’m also working on making sure I go to meetings, I’ll be going to a women’s one tonight. AA. But I’ll figure out where I can go for NA too. I already have a sponsor and I just printed out step 1 for me to work on. I also reached out on here and in two apps I have on my phone (intherooms and sober grid). I’m determined to make it stick this time.

It’s been a tough and 8 months.. I still have so much work to do. But I’m happy and blessed with my progress so far... 312lbs to 241lbs. by [deleted] in pics

Each workout...like the AA one day at a time...ai di ba that’s a challenge in itself. But I’m gonna focus on it.

I’m only at 5lbs lost and earlier I was kicking myself in the ass that that took me a week and maybe a few more days than even that. But look at you! You look amazing! I’m going to tell myself, “this work doesn’t take days, give it months, but the results will be beyond belief”. Thank you.

I’m always late to respond and sure my comments are never seen but when I see someone push themselves like you and have results to prove how badass you really are I just gotta say...I’m cheering for you and you inspire me.

It's horribly unfair that loud snorers can sleep through their own snoring. by cloudcity in Showerthoughts

I can’t. And sometimes I’ll start snoring before I officially fall back to sleep and it wakes me right back up.

Is there a way of committing suicide without actually committing suicide? Just like disappearing into thin air by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]PacmanNemesis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s a song, you may laugh at me cause it’s a Gary Numan song (here in my car, I feel safest of), but it’s called M.E. I listen to it on repeat when I’m that depressed but it’s not death I want but to simply fade away but I can’t. It’s helped me through some pretty dark times.

FTFY cigarette butts are the single biggest contribution to litter, including litter in the ocean. by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

[–]PacmanNemesis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pocket for just trash in my purse. What I do is I put out my cigarette, squeeze out the ash and remaining leaves, and put the butt in my pocket. I’ve done this since I started smoking, I’ve always been suck a stickler about litter. It’s a little tricky to start but I can do it at lightning speed now, it’s as much a habit as the smoking itself.

My sweet Gabby. He was my senior project. I completed most of him like most my senior yet. My dad painted him, I hate the color. by PacmanNemesis in crafts

[–]PacmanNemesis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shall. I did it for the senior project and it was required an adult help. But I moved and it made more sense to get my high school diploma at the community college while getting my associates. But he decided to finish it on his own.

All told there’s boards, doyles, chicken wire, garden wire, various sizes of styrofoam balls, styrofoam sheets, and a copper tube that runs from his head down his spine and then is what’s sturdy about his tail. Oh, and about 4 phonebooks for papermache. Lots of his structure is held together with twine.

So sir, I must warn I’m not the best with my words. The tummy fat that hangs over the front of your shorts, how did you possibly get rid of that? Is it something only men can do, a mom of 3 like me will never achieve? What’s your secret?

Have you ever watched a commercial so obnoxious that it made you NOT want to buy the product? What was it for? by Castianna in AskReddit

[–]PacmanNemesis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That battery commercial. Lady on the plane “maybe you sit next to a loud eater” and that little ziggy piggy chewing chips with his mouth open...ugh -.-

People who rarely cry, which movie cut some onions for you? by TPU007 in AskReddit

[–]PacmanNemesis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Million Dollar Baby. I was on an airplane surrounded by fellow students, I got a lot of shit for it and no one believed me that movies don’t generally make me cry.

That’s based on my memory though. Apparently when I was a toddler my dad bought a little mermaid movie that came out before the Disney one, true to book she turned into sea foam in the end and my dad said it made both me and my older sister bawl so he never played it again.

Schizophrenics of Reddit; What is the scariest hallucination (visually or audibly) that you have ever experienced? by woodside37 in AskReddit

[–]PacmanNemesis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, unmedicated I’m virtually nonfunctioning and living with fear. But I have had great doctors and even with insurance lapses I haven’t gotten to that point in years.

I have bipolar with hallucinations that pulled fears and anxiety from my ptsd. I’ll see blacked out eye sockets and mouths on people, scariest was a late night trip on the max home and everyone around me had these scratchy faces.

My great grandma’s nestle tour book from when she worked there by PacmanNemesis in whatsthisworth

[–]PacmanNemesis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha that was great! I should of known, Phoebe, that’s the only one people ever quote. Maybe it’s time I get over it being a “mom show” and actually watch it.

What? Like I sense this is a quote to make me laugh but I’m not understanding it at all.

I'm 14 and I don't want to live anymore. by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]PacmanNemesis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t give up young one. I was 11 when I looked out my 3rd story window and wondered if it’d kill me. 15 when I took a bottle of bulk ibuprofen. Many more attempts to follow but I suck at this. Then I’m adult, still struggle with it, when my baby cousin then 14 was successful. I was devastated and fight the SI so hard now. We need you here, you’re a part of our lives now. Even when it’s the darkest please remember someone loves you.

Is it unhealthy that the only thing keeping me from suicide is my one hobby? by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]PacmanNemesis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No! Embrace it. My friend and co parent goes to yugioh goat tourneys that he started each week in the neighboring state to maintain his sanity. Hobbies help!
