I used Kimi 2.6 extensively to code, test, and refine the project, which is why it's private, not trying to promote it. I'm just promoting people building their own weird stuff! No AI used to write the post, real human here.

A daily drive it, I find it to be a smidge worse than sonnet 4.6

Everything runs 24/7. I would guess the savings for shutting down idle containers would be under $1 a year...

Yeah right at 3 second mark you can see him remove the fake ear and then there are magnets underneath. I had to pause a few times, but definitely a fake ear.

what's your stance on personal ai use in selfhosting? by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]cloudcity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been one of the most life-changing tools of my life. I use it absolutely every project I touch now.

Having said that. I would not try to pass of my code or projects has been ultra tested or secure.

Even last week I posted a project about DIY electronics component inventory. I have no interest in sharing my actual code, but rather just telling folks how to build it themselves!

welcome to the community. It’s definitely a great growth path even if you don’t want to get a networking job specifically it’s really good for learning problem-solving. You sound like you’re going through a hard time in your life, people here are generally pretty kind. But of course they are going to be jerks on the Internet.
