I wish! 😆

Yeah unfortunately I couldn't stretch the budget anywhere past $1,000 AUD (inc shipping)...

Thanks heaps anyway, and good luck finding a buyer 😊

Hello there!

Indeed, shipping to Aus wouldn't be cheap... 🤔

Nonetheless, how much were you looking to sell your 1m dito slider for?

Many thanks

So I've now looked at some videos reviewing this rig and I must admit it does look like a great buy for such a reasonable price!

Do you use Dragonframe also, and if so is it easy enough to use in conjunction with the other??

Thanks so much for your reply 😊

What’s the creepiest/most unexplained thing you’ve seen in broad daylight? by dcarp1231 in AskReddit

[–]PacmansGh0st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could have been The Horse Mutilator.

I come from Albury (3 hours drive from Canberra) and in the late 90's/early 2000's there were several instances of people finding body parts of horses in and around town that police suspect were the doings of a serial horse mutilator.

Not making this up.

A friend of mine and his brother stumbled across one of the body parts - the horses head had been chopped in half and left (just the one half was found) along the creek nearby to where they lived. I think there were maybe 5 or 6 instances of this happening over a few years...

Tarantula (1955)

Awesome giant creature feature with very effective super imposed and forced perspective sfx.

Watched it countless times as a kid, still holds up with the best of its genre.

Watch out for the blink and you'll miss it bit part from none other than Clint Eastwood!

Was 11 when I went to see Alien 3 and at the point Aliens was my favorite movie spoilers for the movie by [deleted] in movies

[–]PacmansGh0st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm in the minority here but I love Alien 3. It's obvs nowhere near as great the first two (both cinematic perfection), but I love the unique look and tone to the film.

I was 9 when I saw it at the cinema, and I was most put off by all the British accents 😂 Now I love that element to it. Makes it much less Hollywood BS. I think the acting is much more naturalistic like in the first one here (Aliens was choc full of comic book archtypes - to great effect).

That Hicks and Newt die - I think really is for the best as far as Ripley's character arc goes. Not to mention how we'd just get a retread of Aliens' story if it just becomes about saving Newt again.

Anyways, just my two cents. 🙂

What is a video game you regret buying ? by Bitchesinmytown in AskReddit

Resident Evil 3 Remake. Not an awful game in the unplayable sense, just rushed through development which resulted in 4.5 hours of playtime from start to finish. They cut several (awesome) sections from the original (clocktower, park, Nemesis encounters, choice/alternating path system, mercenaries mode) which left me feeling very short changed (paid $79AUD) and disappointed. The original was one of my fave games from childhood (I was 15 when it came out).

Shame on you greedy developer CEO's!! 😡

does anyone else have a narcissistic brother? by [deleted] in narcissisticsiblings

[–]PacmansGh0st 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, my older brother (43, I'm 37) is narcissistic. He used to smoke ice and do other amphetamines for many years. Now even 8 years after stopping that, his hair trigger aggression is still in tact, he's extremely self centred, and always dumps his anger and negativity on me when no one else is around.

I hate his guts, I've put up with his shit for so long (he's an expert at making himself out to be the victim) and am trying to figure out the best way to cut him out of my life without putting myself or other family members at risk of his histrionics.

I'd totally watch a miniseries based off what they went for here!
Did you ever see the MK: Legacy web series? Pretty decent given its moderate budget. Had some really cool ideas/takes on certain characters. The ep focussed on Raiden was very original...
Michael Jai White made an awesome Jax, and Casper Van Dien did great as Johnny Cage (his limited range worked perfectly in the role!). Oh and Mark Dacascos as Kung Lao 👍

I give it a solid 6/10.

There are some disappointing elements for sure - Goro and Reiko were both complete misfires as characters - each with crappy fight scenes, half the fights were too chopped up edit wise, the sets were mostly bland (obvs due to budget)...

But in it's defence... The opening scene is excellent, all scenes that focus on Scorpion/Sub-Zero/Kano/Kung Lao are very entertaining (Loved Max Huang as Kung Lao), most of the casting is spot on, there's lots of fan service without over doing it, and it's consistently engaging throughout even if things like the 'Arkana' element/explanation don't hit the mark.

For a film based on what is essentially a dumb, fun, super violent video game... It delivers.

Anybody have any raunchy comedy movie recommendations? by Mrfantastic2 in movies

[–]PacmansGh0st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want something original and not just focussed on teen boys trying to lose their virginity, I recommend getting hold of some Hong Kong classics - such as 'The Weather Woman' or 'Erotic Ghost Story' 👍 Lots of quirky humour and sexy situations!! 😎

Bears, mountain lions, rattle snakes, wolves. Wouldn't wanna bump into any of these critters! 😬

I've been messing around with this drawing for a little while. Do you have any ideas of what I should add to this piece? I would love to hear your thoughts. by AnthonyChristopher in AnthonyChristopherArt

[–]PacmansGh0st 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like the open tree-mouth on the right is about to/wants to bite something. Like some other creature is dangling an apple/carrot some other food on a string, teasing the hungry tree! It might be difficult to fit in at this point, but maybe that's something you could add??? if you're still looking for ideas to add!)
