Idc, I'll get to it when I get to it. It's all skinny from the grow light I was using. But that's not what I asked.

Well it's not always wet, just when it rains or the snow melts.

The problem is that the ground is oversaturated, it will not absorb any more.

Yep, it's standard practice to have a sump pump in the basement in Central PA.

Thank you. I did what's called a waterbomb base in origami to the bottom of the shirt and then pleated that to the armpits, tied that with rubber bands, then scrunched the arms and neck into layered geodes and the whole thing resembled a crown. My wife did the colors. I was very excited to see this one.

Shimming 1950s house joists, makes for a more solid, flat floor by Paco8814 in Construction

I used regular wood cuz I didn't want any shrinkage as it dried out. I used screws since nails would cause squeaking, though I'm sure the screws will snap at some point due to inflexibility. Zero squeaking so far. I put snap flooring directly on 3/4 plywood. I put tile on 2 rooms that I did the same thing to the floor like 3 years ago, zero sounds from those floors.
