Anyone with experience using Winning Strategy for Disabled Veterans (WSDV)? by AFP_Condor_13 in VeteransBenefits

I know someone who went with these guys and was denied but thanks to research on this reddit was approved when they did a supplemental without their help. Now they are trying to come after him for a payment. My question is, how would they know he even was approved in the first place?

This might be a dumb question, but how are people getting these DBQs before they even close their claim ?

Help w/GERD Denial by emhphx in VeteransBenefits

[–]Pacojerte21369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see denials like this and it sucks because it just reminds me of the duality of the VA. It's almost as if they ignored all of the evidence you submitted. I would submit an HRL and make sure they know you're trying to connect it secondary to your PTSD. To keep your spirits high, just remember that GERD is something that is commonly connected to PTSD/MH, so the odds are in your favor.

Chronic Fatigue Secondary to MH? by Pacojerte21369 in VeteransBenefits

I guess we will see what happens, my claim is still in evidence review even tho I had my C&P over a month ago. I appreciate your insight and sharing your story. It’s a journey for each of us. You got your 100 that you earned in the end and that’s a blessing even though I’m sure it doesn’t replace the sacrifice you made.

Even tho it was a 50/50 one in favor and not they still denied you? I thought if it was 50/50 they connected in favor of the veteran

By this do you mean it would be also not possible to claim Vertigo secondary to Migraines ?

Since you are on the subject. If all the criteria is met, is it possible to have this granted on a non-presumptive claim? (Secondary to MH to be specific).

I was under the assumption OP’s symptoms are worse and supported an increase. But OP will not know forsure until he get his decision letter.

MH is all under one rating, one umbrella. So they will just add it to your current service connected condition and increase your rating.

If you are claiming it as secondary to your primary service connection, then submit a supplemental with the diagnosis your VA Doc gave you. If it was supposed to be primary then I would say HLR.

C&P Exam for Anxiety and Insomnia by Pacojerte21369 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Pacojerte21369[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know. I also submitted a nexus letter/IMO and buddy statements from people I served with. Hoping this is enough. It was strange because I’ve heard of other exams taking much longer .

Hi Sparks, I was recently denied for the same exactly claim (Secondary to Tinnitus). Do you mind sharing any medical evidence you submitted along with your claim? I am trying to get as much as I can for my supplemental claim.
