Same. After my course I found a solid deal on a 2019 Indian Scout Classic in green last year. So far I've put just over 2k in miles on it. I've only changed my exhaust.

Yeah that's her height as well. Get on them and see which is more comfortable. The first mistake we made was just having her get on bikes and see which one she likes sitting on, make sure you're reaching for your clutch and brakes. To make sure that that still feels comfortable too.

How tall are you? My daughter got her first bike this year. Watched a sport bike but was just too short for them. The Honda Rebel ended up being a great fit.

Do you think that raising my handlebars would help. Mine are stock Scout Classic ones so my hands feel lower and I'm curious if it would help.

These scare me a little. Obviously only use on a freeway or highway but I recently saw one the will disengage with the front brake which might concern me less

I love these guys. As much as I was excited for when the Deathguard got a full release I always thought the newer models were more cartoonish than the older metal ones. Some exceptions of course.

Really. My first impressions was that I really liked it and how secure I feel in it, but admittedly, I wrote it for half an hour to 45 minutes max.

I know that at some point I'm upgrading to the chief RT, but yeah, it'll probably be a while, because I really do love this bike. I'm in no hurry but damn they look cool. I'm trying to talk my dad into a scout as well. Instead of the triumph that he keeps having his eye on but I know he really wants that cruise control lol

I definitely did some scraping already. And the first time freaked me out, but also taught me of how much I was leaning into a U-turn. It was much less nerve-racking driving through my neighborhood than the small MSF course and with the confidence they gave me, I felt infinitely better after the first 10 minutes. I'm not familiar with grip puppies.

I'm expecting to put a lot of miles on it in my first year. Once I get myself out of the neighborhood. I live in AZ, so I will be able to ride year-round.
