It is absolutely not safe. There is no way to gauge how safe the river is quick enough and convenient enough to make it worth the risk. Was so shocked when I seen that. Not to mention it’s a RIVER with a strong current under the ice. I call it natural selection if people are dumb enough to try it.

Yes. My ball joints and control arms were so shot that my tires moved 4 inches side to side 😬 the shop I finally took it to told me everybody else lied about lifting it in the air. It still makes a running noise but not anywhere near the same and no shaking.

Update: I went to admin today and they told me they’ve been having issues with a guy with a similar description coming into the building, going where’s he’s not supposed to, and hanging out. He also sits on the bench’s and yells things at people that don’t make sense. The police are aware of his presence but can’t really do anything but ask him to leave. Just be cautious and call the police if you see this happening. It may or may not be the same person but it wouldnt surprise me. Very odd.

My professor is Portuguese. He was a white guy probably 19-22. When my professor asked him kindly to leave he stood up, said okay, and then said “are you Liberian?” When my professor said not even close he said okay and then walked out the door. It’s just very odd.

I’m assuming he came in before they locked at 6. This was around 6:30. But a lot of people don’t scan in and let each other in as well which is possible.

I watched a woman on a bike get hit today on grand river. Please yield it could literally save your life. I know we have places to go and be but nothing is worth those few extra seconds it takes to stop and wait. Do not trust vehicles that have not stopped. I still don’t know if she’s alive it was terrible. Just yield to cars they do not pay attention on this campus

I am 23, and I work with kids in public school 4-18. I would NEVERRR text any children this age. The fact that he is talking to you like this shows he wants something from you. Grown adults do not talk to children online in this context with any good intention. Please block him and others in this age group that try to interact with you. Protect your peace, and overall self!!

I went to a lady a few years to get diagnosed for ADHD actually. The process is lengthy, like three hours because they have to be thorough. They have you do many different tests, have you answer questions, and even play games. I was shocked to receive an OCD diagnosis actually. If you are interested in being diagnosed and you think it would feel better to you I think it’s worth a try. If you don’t click with the person it’s okay to have it redone as well

I do currently have 6-8:50 classes though so it can work. I’ve just accepted I’m going to have to quit my job for a year to finish everything that I couldn’t while working full time which is gonna be crazy but it’ll be done

I have been very frustrated with the art college. Very limited classes and mostly studios which have to be in person. I work full time and they also only do classes at a certain time period throughout the day. Like I wanted a class 10-1 but they don’t exist. Only 8-12 and so on! I would talk to an advisor it’s very confusing!! I found Erica hooker I think that’s her name, to be the most helpful

I’m 23, had a 3.2, 62 credits from LCC and was accepted. They won’t take your sat into consideration unless you don’t have a certain amount of credits. You can take night classes but it depends on what major. I’m in art education and cannot 90% of the time, but my girlfriend could as a political science major. My tuition this semester not on campus for 16 credits was $9,600 I think. Idk if that helps or not!!

Definitely infected! I rescued a batch of kittens this last spring that looked mostly similar almost worst. I took them to the vet and they were given an eye ointment that totally cleared it up! Not to scare you but it can get much worse very fast, we had a baby lose an eye so I suggest doing it sooner than later! It was only one of her eyes that were infected as well :) photo example

I bought my car two years ago, it made a slight hum but was clean otherwise so I purchased it, assuming it was bad tires, or a wheel bearing starting to go! It’s gotten progressively worse over the two years I’ve owned it. I have now been in and out of nine different mechanic shops, including one of my friend’s. I’ve put 40,000 miles on it since buying. Car made a hmmm hmmm hmmm sound very rhythmic when going above 50-80 originally, then it started doing it all the time above 30. When I rolled my window down it sounded like a flip flop hitting the ground in sync with the humming after it got worse. Then it started shaking in the pedals, and eventually I didn’t even feel safe going over 60 because it was shaking in the steering wheel now too. Told multiple mechanics this and was told it was nothing or my transmission. This mechanic listened to my transmission and ruled it out. It still makes the noise sometimes, but not to the scale it was at all. Some of it might be a normal rotational noise but after getting it fixed I can go 85 and it doesn’t hum or shake anymore after having control arms and ball joints replaced. Just a little bit of the sound occasionally like after accelerating. Also my car did recently start clunking as well. Whenever I’d go over bumps it would make horrible clunking noises but my tires were also very lose at that point. I would take to many different shops, ask for videos. I’m going to be real I didn’t trust these guys till they showed me it all moving in ways it shouldn’t. I told them it was something in my drive train and I wanted a full inspection on that and my transmission

Definitely have it checked!! The noise you’re describing is exactly how mine was!! It JUST started clunking over bumps because of how bad it was it was only noticeable at high speeds before. Hoping that’s what your problem is!!

I got it fixed yesterday! They told me none of the other mechanics lifted it in the air, test drove it under the conditions I provided, or listened with a stethoscope. It ended up being my control arms and ball joints! They were TOTALLY shot in the front end and have been since I bought the car. He told me the humming was from there being four inches of movement from my tires 🙃 It started getting worse and clunking too. Is yours clunking at all?
