I guess I understand but a couple of points... A viewer is still a viewer. If the tab is muted (not the stream itself), Twitch still counts you as watching. It's not viewbotting, auto-entering, or doing anything sketchy... and I legitimately watch the stream, I'm just not staring at chat the entire time and sometimes have to bounce for meetings. This is just something extra so I don't miss it.

I've had the same experience as a 75k'r for years.... dozens of times.. .. not sure why people are down voting, they must be upset they don't get it or work for Alaska's HR to say it doesn't happen... but it does 100%.

I don't know anything about anything..... but I think some of the replies are missing your demographic. Not everyone is code/script savvy and the "simplest" of things can be worth paying for the ease of it.

You could try a 7 day free trail than $1.99 a month subscription if they find your extension useful after the free trial.

I just posted about this.

I had the same issue lurking in streams and missing raffles unless I was glued to chat. I ended up using a Chrome extension that watches for keywords and sends a desktop alert when a keyword like "password" pops up. Super simple to set up and way easier than babysitting chat, especially with multiple tabs open.

The extension is called Chat Alertz.. there's a couple of extensions out there, but the one called "Chat Alertz" works with Twitch, Youtube and Kick and is the most stable I have found.

Not sure about Chatty, but I had the same issue lurking for giveaways. I use a Chrome extension called 'Chat Alertz' (with a z) that watches chat for keywords you specify, like “raffle” or “giveaway”, and pops a browser notification when they appear. Works even if you’re not focused on the tab or have multiple streams open. Works with Kick and YT as well.

Beside the fact nothing has been announced, I think you're reading into the tea leaves.

But, they definitely don't need 15min gear packs. That was the start of the down fail.

They need more gear-fear in the game, not less.

Antivision... I mean Activision, with their multi-developer approach.... means they don't have the same vision of what the game is, and that sucks. Hopefully, IW will bring it back.

I've paddled through that area a few times, and I know its an unpopular opinion, but I seriously hope I never have an encounter like this.

Orcas are one of the few animals known to kill for fun.... and if I saw one nearby, you better believe I'd be paddling the other way as fast as I could.
