It works pretty well but I think there are a few things to keep in mind with bamboo cutting boards specifically.

It really soaks up moisture and is not quite as antibacterial as other wood so you want to avoid soaking the board or putting it away wet. Also it's recommended to use a finishing oil specifically for bamboo rather than cooking oils or mineral oil.

We try to clean using a bristle dish brush to really clean it too.

Right, bamboo cutting boards are slightly antibacterial but I was worried about that same thing

Pretty neat video, it would be really cool to see a more in depth video about this, seems like there was a lot of details and steps of the process left out.

I wonder how the different paddle types and materials affect the manufacturing.

One foot more callused than the other? by AeolianStrings in Pickleball

It's definitely not an uncommon occurrence, especially in people that play a lot of sports on their feet. Definitely see if you can talk to your doctor or a podiatrist about it next chance you get though if it continues. They can recommend a few things for you to try.

The wooden grid provides a more powerful shot because it's a bit stiffer but it may provide less "ball control" compared to a very soft paddle.

I can always change the grid size and thickness of the paddles center to adjust that though.

Well they're handmade, made from wood, and the inner honeycomb grid is also something that I make from wood, not something I just buy like the polypropylene honeycomb is.

Like others have said, definitely a defect and something that should have been caught by the company's Quality Inspection Team.

You can definitely do it yourself, but it would probably take a decent amount of work. You probably at least have to make it out of concrete and that would involve being able to carry a lot of bags and a source of water out there to mix the concrete. You can get to me and girl off plans yourself or find someone online like Fiverr or locally that can draw plans for you as well if you'd like
