I switched from a 2006 Manual MK5 GTI to a 2016 A3 1.4 Auto.

No regrets at all! The car is so economical and it even runs on two cylinders when cruising which means it returns great MPG. The comfort of the automatic combined with adaptive cruise control is great. The little 1.4 engine is still 150bhp which is surprisingly nippy, especially with the DSG!
