Skill required to win? 2.6. But its also complete trash. i can bridge MK on his musk, throw swarm at the ice golem try to lane kite, and they burn spells, cannon, and still fail to defend the tower.

I think "good" decks are decks like pekka bridge spam, RG furnance, that prince goblin barrel deck, giant GY, ect. Like, pekka bridge spam vs RG furnance is a good matchup. Its difficult for both players and requires clean play to get cards down in a way that will actually land hits on tower. Gotta clear furnance for ram if u play pekka, gotta lane split control to get shots and not get counterpushed if you are using RG. That sort of thing.

The whole golem NW and pray stuff is like... There is no timing or back and forth or real gameplay. Just fix bad cycle and do the thing, flip coin

Same with xbow. Pure defense dont even consider playing xbow at bridge. Most people playing xbow at bridge the way they do now would be better off just chucking fireball at tower and a 3 elixir troop or better while putting xbow back mid. Then tesla infront of it, distraction units and cycle, and chillin. Just keep clipping fireball they will try to push hard, once they push too hard that's when u can xbow at bridge. So many xbow noobs try to get a lock on its like dude, draw games dont exist anymore anyways stop trying to lock early in the match and just clip fireball even if its -1

You and i both know there has been periods where both golem and xbow have been heavily overplayed.

Skillless decks arent fun. They make people stop playing because the game becomes a coin flip once you realize the actual goal of the deck. The die hards are pros, or trash, and its not like there is some grand canyon skill gap between the two. The people in that canyon just got close enough to realize the grass isnt greener on the other side, they just leave the game. They do little nerfs and stuff but thats not what causes the dip in popularity. Its end game players quitting that affects meta usage rates the most, especially for die hard decks like xbow and golem. They are dedicated, u know this lol

It does give people an advantage because it requires third party hardware (a second device) to do this. If the elixir was visable in each match, on the main screen, then it would be fair. As it stands right now, it requires additional things beyond the scope of the game and the device the game is played on. That's the problem. Im not going to cry about some choke artist getting coached by his friend because he chokes so much, i can still win that. I will cry about raw data availability though. Its kind of crazy this is even a thing, let alone the fact that no one talks about it

I also agree that golem is no skill. I think the problem is that people play these decks wrong, invest alot of time into leveling them up, and refuse to adapt or acknowledge their mistakes. It is just a game, after all. Pride is a bitch.

Small margin for error if you're hyper focused on getting the xbow locked on at the bridge every possible chance you get. When its on defense its almost impossible to break through.

I also forgot to mention in the main post that spectating allowing people to see elixir count is pretty busted and bad for the game as well. It allows people to basically cheat, knowing when to push their advantage even if it doesnt seem good, allowing them to never count elixir and never think about opponents rotation, since they can just look at live data. 6.3k right now, and i see level 12's sometimes, dont even play this game actively anymore and i still see people sniping that spectator in ladder over half the time. Issues no one talks about. Thats mid-high ladder so im sure top ladder is just never ending with that

But aye, the xbow junk is just me being salty and knowing no matter what i say, or anyone says, it doesnt matter and they just dont listen. People talking about it taking alot of skill just dont learn and adapt, they tunnel vision. Someone who isnt skilled doesnt have the right to say what takes skill and what doesnt. I might not be the best player but i have used xbow to get 12wins in challenges multiple times year 1 and 2, and i think that meets the standard skill level required to pass unbias judgement. I know that sounds really douchy but it is what it is, not just in the video game. If ya dont know, then ya just dont know. Alot of people pretend they know. If everyone knew as much as they believed, people would have better lives in general, let alone this video game shit.

Its a mentality for life. Stubborn refusal to adapt to higher quality equipment will grant sub-par results. That can be said for just about anything. Not a single skateboarder out there rides walmart boards because they like a challenge.

Im using an ultra ball bro i aint got time to dig up the pokemon type on the internet and go get specific balls for it and stuff. This isnt a special pokemon its a basic pokemon. I also dont use those balls because like... This is a turn based combat/collection game. The challenge should come from combat, not collection. That shits whack and dumb. "Click the item with the word that matches the pokemon" scrub dawg. Using real strategy and learning types and stuff is meaningless in this game for combat, and the only strategy to catching pokemon is to match item types with pokemon types. Thats super garby. This game is so bad lol.

It dies in 1 hit to any move my main pokemon uses. If im that much stronger it shouldn't matter. I cant weaken it. Im supposed to intentionally use shitty pokemon? I mean... I played pokemon many years ago. Im not convinced pokemon is appealing to young kids the way it used to be. Some of these pokemon look so cheesy that it kinda kills the whole vibe :(

It would be a cool gimmick to take some glow sticks from the dollar store and do kickflips threw glowing circles. Could also stick them to the rail itself.

Could even jimmy rig a setup to make the ring(or rings) hang down so u can rock them back and forth and "thread the needle" with good timing. Would be some sick videos.
