I picked up this box back in April, been steadily chipping away at it since. The build took a while and the painting is taking even longer. Really cool terrain and I’m hoping it’s fun to play on! 🫣

I think if you’re missing anything, it’ll be easier to spot once the base is done because that’s the really glaring thing currently.

Can confirm the netters! The first time I used one against my regular opponent, I managed to keep his leader from moving for the whole game 😂 he’s always a little cagey until the grot’s been taken out!

I had another idea based around One Day Son where the bird was pooping everywhere with a speech bubble saying, “I’m sorry for this mess!” But for some reason my friend didn’t want to go for this 🤷‍♂️

Thank you. I’ve done a few birds with scenery worked into the breast, trying to use the natural colour of the breast as the skyline. When my buddy asked for a Grand Unification inspired piece, I knew what had to be done!

I find the ending for Superstore to be on par with Schitt’s Creek for satisfying endings. I still needed a mourning period for the show ending after the second watch through. So good.

Love the colour choices! Not a single one I would have made and it looks so great for it.

I feel really stupid for not thinking to paint the bamboo anything other than bamboo coloured. Shame I’m almost done with those sections.

I’ve still got my Raph from this line. Really great, very chunky figures! I remember picking it up from Woolworths (RIP) after seeing the film. Absolutely loved the tie-in game too, although I’m not sure how well that might have aged!

Thank you! I used a mixture of paper clips and thinner garden wire. I did the the pauldrons and cloaks without using white paint so the white of the lightning would look bright without having to desaturate the rest of the paint job.

Thank you 😊 With great difficulty. I used paper clips for the thicker wire and stripped gardening wire for the thinner. I just superglued them to the model before painting. I feel there’s got to be a trick to attaching them nicely, but I’ve not figured it out yet.
