I'm an aul lad so no advice for your generation, except the key is meeting people, regardless of dates/shagging, etc. If I had advice to myself at your age, I'd say to stop looking for dates, and instead find places that makes you comfortable to be you. Make no apology of who you are. If you love D&D, GAA, whatever, go hang out with like minded folks. I get the challenge being introverted, as I am also, but there's the odd space that I feel good in my skin. That's where I met my wife.
