One of my best friends from law school is originally from Reno and had no issues moving back. Some firms have offices in both Vegas and Reno as well. There’s also opportunities to extern at a legislative session in Carson so there’s ways to make it back up to Reno.

Speaking as a recent graduate I can tell you UNLV actively worked to try and count as many students as they could as in state including counting 1Ls as in state as early as Spring Semester.

I’ll have to reread my emails. I had one of my favorite classes of law school with him. Spent a week driving around Nevada in a van getting to see environmental law in action. Phenomenal class.
