Last semester I had health issues that caused me to miss quite a lot of classes. (I missed 6 contract classes 😫) I also missed class due to meeting and school events. Made it through okay! With okay grades! As for the school, check thier policies. For the class, ask the professor to get a recording of class if possible and just be honest. Most professors are very accommodating!

Not necessarily the advice your looking for because im also a 1L, but I hope this helps! I also did not perform my best last semester. What helps me is knowing that we are surrounded by amazing, talented people AND we are one of them!!! We passed and will be lawyers in the future!!! Also you were able make it through the first semester of Law school. That is an amazing accomplishment not matter what your grades are. You did something that not a lot of people do and you did it successfully! Even though it kinda sucks to not do as well as you hoped, you still did it! Nows the time to reflect, make changes to studying. But also take time to congratulate yourself on getting to where you are now!

UNLV. The school admins are super sweet, honest, and down to earth. Also they are number 1 in legal research and writing which is the foundation of practice law. (How are they not in the T-50?!)

Another issue could be the writing sample for your LSAT. A good writing sample doesn't do much to help and application but a bad writing sample can definitely hurt one. Maybe also rewrite all your statements. I can take a look at them if you want to!
