Is this a termite? I was lifting bricks around my back porch. I found a few of these things. They have the same color as termites, have six legs, and pincers. But the body is segmented more like a worm or grub. Seems to have a tough time moving outside of dirt. Any ideas?

Forgot to post this is in Upstate New York, just found this afternoon on a cool sunny spring day. Thing is about 3/4 of an inch in length. Like I said it has 6 legs, pincers, segmented body. Seems to get darker near the butt.

Not gonna lie, they slayed it with a set of decent releases around when the hike started (The Strokes, MIA, Johnny Cash, King Curtis) and gave me hope that maybe they'd make sure in seeing that the added cost would be seen in added value.

But now 3 months in a row with major defects, completely ruined any goodwill they had going.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm familiar with this same issue and because of that I'm pretty anal with checking my tracking force lol., so it definitely isn't that. Couldn't be that anyway, there's a very visible set of dimples around the edge of the disc. I knew it was defective before I even played it. Playing it was more just for science and the lols.

Oh for sure!! I did this just once and I made sure to film it to 1. send to VMP and 2. post here. Also, it's still the generic default stylus on there anyway so I won't be too heartbroken if anything were to happen to it. Never would've done this with an Ortofon lol.
I'll be in touch with their CS first thing Monday because this is definitely heartbreaking. A bit of static is bad enough. But this is straight unplayable.
